Its as if the stimulant helps him think before he speaks. Unfortunately , none of the stimulants last longer than a few hours for him and they cause him anxiety. My hope is he will socially mature in time ( will always have a problem, of course) and we will find the "right" stimulant that wont cause so much anxiety and tics . What do you think?
I am having trouble finding out what is a safe maximum dosage of Diamox for psuedotumor cerebri. When I had asked my daughters neurologist this question, she said there is no maximum dosage which I found hard to believe that there wouldn't be a max dose on any medication.
My daughter is 15 yrs old and had been prescribed a total of 2500 mg per day divided into 3 doses.
Does anyone know the max dose for diamox?

I’ve read that the average dosage for adults is 30 mg/day. I’m a 25 year old male. I weigh 220 lbs. and am 5’11”. The only other medication I’m on is 100 mg of Zoloft/day for the treatment of depression. I have no prior medical issues. What would be the appropriate dosage range for me if I were to take this medication? I’ve read that it may have negative effects on the heart. I’m considering talking with my PCP about this but am trying to find out on my own first. Would 60 mg/day be too much?

I take regular drug test weekly, and within the last 2 months,I have had 2 false postives for opiates ..... I got a confirmation of both test, and they both came up for codeine . I bought a cheap microgram scale to do just that and it allows me to adjust the meds to my ideal dosage since what works for me is actually in between the standard doses it comes in. Maybe that’s an option for your med. I would read the literature to check. Both vyvanse and adderall say you can open the capsule as long as you don’t crush the beads. Hope that’s helpful.
For adults, we often say that FT4 ought to be about midrange. Babies, however, run higher levels of FT4 than adults. The FT4 range you provide doesn't appear to be age-adjusted (it looks like an adult range). Perhaps your pedi endo is adfvising you to increase because he knows babies should have higher levels??? Also, her TSH is quite high, and this usually indicates that a meds increase is in order.

Below is copied from Dr Burrascano's treatment guidelines for Lyme (posted on the ILADS website), including an entry on doxycycline [aka doxy] dosage:
"Adults: 200 mg bid [meaning twice a day] with food; doses of up to 600 mg daily are often needed, as doxycycline is only effective at high blood levels." So perhaps your doc's doses are on the light side -- I'd ask him, but sometimes docs get huffy. I'd ask him anyway. It's your health we're talking about.
your son has apparently experienced positive results with Concerta which is a form of methylphenidate, while Adderall is a form of dextroamphetamine (Ritalin and Dexedrine). Frequently the forms of methylphenidate work better for ADHD Hyperactive while the dextroamphetamines work better for the Inattentive.
Which is your son? To compound matters further if he is an "active" young man, is his activity "motor" or "distractablitIy" driven?
If it were legal, that is, a generic form, you would still need a prescription. So it is just junk. Get a prescription for generic Adderall. It is less expensive than the proprietary drug.

i am okay, just still very awake and angry at everyone for no apparent reason...thanks for the responses. i was not and have never been an addict but i'd say over the past few months i may have become one? i didnt jump from 10 to 100, it was a slow progression, i just have been doing it now for the past few days and that is a first...i usually take a downer to try to go to sleep which is also terrible, so since it's friday i am trying to wait it out...
