I have been having chronic problems with post nasal drip and pressure on the bridge of my nose. It's not terribly bothersome, rather annoying. Let me explain what I mean by post nasal drip. I feel like there is constantly mucus stuck in the back of my nose. It isn't really dripping down my throat, rather just sitting in the back of my nose. It feels thick and I often have to snort in order to get it out. It is not discolored, just clear/milky white.

Problem of congested nose - I saw a doctor for my nose blocking problem. He told it as Rhinosis. Fluzep and Ibuprofen tablets were given. After few days I saw an ENT. ive been having sinus problems for months now i finally got results of my can scan and i dont know exactly what was said by heart..but i have a deviated septum,enlarged turbinates,puse is my left maxillary sinus,and i think she said an air pocket also..so im suppose to get surgery done in april..the 3 listed are septoplasty,endoscopic sinus,and turbinectomy..i have no problem with any of these except what i read about the turbinectomy when it comes to empty nose syndrome..

when I went to Ent specialist my test results came normal for hearing....but doctor said I have heavy nasal septum deviation in left nose and also tonsils..he said due to septum deviation,tinnitus may occur....but never heard that nasal septum deviation can cause tinnitus....but important thing is..my left side nose is deviated,,my voice is hitting left ear,, and ringing in ear is also left only.

So I went to the ENT today and had them stick that scope up my nose and apparently I have a pretty bad deviated septum ... he gave me a script for a nasal spray and an antibiotic but I'm not sure what the antibiotic is for, I don't like taking antibiotics if I don't have to so I'm hesitant to take that. He mentioned surgery but for the possible future ... I'm hoping the nasal spray will help the allergies and the post nasal drip ...

Do you use nasal sprays other then saline? Do you have a deviated septum? Have you had any blood work done and your clotting factor checked? I think I would check these things out. Good luck.

Your symptoms could be due to a sinus infection, a cold or a chronic allergy. It could also be due to a deviated nasal septum. It could also be due to a deviated nasal septum. Sinus infection causes blockage of flow especially when a person lies down. The blockade is affected by the side to which the person turns also. You will need to consult your primary care physician for proper assessment. In the meantime practice good breathing exercises, humidify your room and do steam inhalations. I had a nasal surgery of deviated septum...called sub mucosal resection...and after dat I am suffering like hell..I am suffering from a stuffy nose...and white thik mucus..draining from my nose into throat..which leaves a horrible taste..which has reduced my social interaction considerably..please help...

hello i have been using cocaine socially on and off for many years, usually a binge about once a month or two. i previously had a deviated septum unrelated to cocaine and it never bothered me. now it does, i mouth breathe and have pressure in my nose/sinus, the shape of my nose has changed, there seem to be shadows on the sides and it seems flattened. i am obviously very scared of nasal collapse. i have been to see my gp who referred me to an ent specialist.

I know surgery is an option for the deviated septum. But will my nose ever not hurt again??? It also causes so much pressure in my ears that it has aggravated my TMJ. Sure wish I knew then what I know now...

I have heard of a perforated septum and deviated septum- Can these things lead to a feeling of your eye starting to sink in (it totally is not noticable to look at) its just a slight feeling. What is that all about? AND from there can it cause more damage to your ear drums? Like having a popping or clicking sound when blowing by nose. I would appreciate any advise- insurance issues, surgerys, natural healing, but please dont say to me to stop doing cocaine.
