acne

Avatar f tn I too am breaking out, luckily for me I am an esthetician.. I use all murad products and they work really well for me. I use an exfoliating acne treatment gel as well as a clarifying mask a couple times a week. It really works for me. If you want to try it out you can purchase the acne kit and test it out. It is a lot cheaper than purchasing these two products and that one comes with 4 products. It is a 30 day trial kit.
Avatar f tn I have not had any first-hand experience with patients who have used the ConceiveEasy TTC Kit, but from review there are some helpful tools included with the package. Per the company's website, the kit includes your choice of: pregnancy or ovulation tests, a basal body thermometer, a basal body thermometer chart, getting started guide, and a ConceiveEasy 2-Month Starter Pack (natural supplements).
Avatar m tn I have been given Acuatim cream to use twice a day, and have been told that I should take oral antibiotics if the cream doesn`t work. Every acne antibiotic I review on the neet suggests that they can cause coltis (pseudomembranous?), so I am concernd as to what oral medication I can take? Any other colitis sufferers out there taking oral acne treatment? If so, what works for you? Many thx and remission wishes for all.
Avatar n tn I am a fair-skinned 57 yearold woman who has been on Retinoids since I was thirty due to adult female acne. I was on Renova for a few years, then Tazarotene, but now am on generic Retin-A 0.01% for cost reasons. My other meds are for mood, allergy, hypothyrhoid, cholesterol, and hormone-replacement therapy. My skin is lovely except for enlarged pores on my nose and flakes around my nostrils. I can pull them off one at a time with tweezers, but it's very time consuming.
Avatar n tn t say what you have already tried but the standard treatment for body acne is a course of oral antibiotics like Oxytetracycline 250mg twice daily and a topical retinoid gel such as Retin-a. It would be unusual to get acne on your arms, this is more likely to be keratosis pilaris rubra. However, Retin-a is also effective for this condition.
Avatar n tn You can do a spot treatment and mix baking soda with warm water and put it on any blemishes that you have, leave it on for a couple minutes then remove and it helps bring them up for you to get the bacteria out. Another good cure is the MURAD acne facial kits that they sell online. They work wonders. Their products have sulfuric acid and salicylic which kills bacteria, heals the breakouts and prevents any more breakouts from coming through.
Avatar f tn I will go to microderma after giving birth. U can use olay microderma kit . It makes my skin clean n smooth n less acne.
Avatar f tn My understanding of the review is that it will be used as a guide to treatment. I have limited confidence in health professionals so it is hard to say which way it is likely to go. Ultimately I would like decent, accessible therapy that will help me move forward in a timely way. Therapy that is sensitive and respectful -all that basic stuff that people seemingly don't know how to apply to 'difficult or different' patients. Therapy that is containing and has limits, etc.
Avatar f tn Just wondering if I can use clean and clear acne control kit while pregnant?? Skin looks horrible bumps all down my neck ,my chest and back oatmeal soup isn't working ?
1390055 tn?1365615055 I was wondering if anyone here has used Doxycycline to treat a urinary tract infection and the resulting effects of their treatment have been. I have been prescribed this medication due to a suspected urinary tract infection possibly caused by an STD, even though all of these STDs: HIV, Syphilis, Chylmadia, Gonorrea, have been done WELL outside of their testing window, and they have all come back negative. Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma are possibilities.
9840853 tn?1407207261 Its probably not helping your skin. Try stoping by sephora and picking up the anti acne liquid foundation and the anti acne primer. ( i personally have oil skin and acne issue pre-pregnancy and this stuff worked wonders for me.) Even tge regular foundation with the primer. I also use a face kit call beauty control by skin logistics. Non sented, and a little bit goes a long way !!
Avatar f tn Then about 3 years ago I went to school for esthetics, where i learned the ins and outs of acne care, and treatment... i was the one who helped people with their acne and skin conditions. Half way threw school it started... everyday i woke up with 5 more pimples... i had pimples on top of pimples, on top of pimples. Being in school, I had everyone on my side trying to help me, every cream and face wash available, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, chemical peels, the works... NOTHING worked.
Avatar m tn Hello, Fusidic acid and minocycline are both antibiotics which are used for the treatment of acne. Treatment options include topical and oral antibiotics, topical retinoids, hormonal therapy, dermabrasion , phototherapy and laser resurfacing. Normally a combination of treatments is followed and if nothing proves effective then dermabrasion and laser therapy are useful. You can discuss these treatment options with your dermatologist.
Avatar m tn Look for AsianMale1985, his treatment profile suits yours. When you came to know, was your HbeAg -? It is highly unlikely to get back to + when you had - (seroconverted). Don't stress it out, stress reduce immune strength and you can only fight this virus with immune strength. Sleep early at night, eat lots of fruits n veggies, and exercise 20-30 mins. everyday will get your immune strength in its prime. Oh and make sure you do Fibroscan twice a year, 6 months apart.

Avatar f tn Hi, ladies. I'm 25 weeks pregnant with a baby boy & currently my face has been breaking out more & more with acne! Makes me wanna cry, I feel like I'm in high school all over again! What works for this & is safe for the baby?
Avatar f tn I know that proactiv made it worse but the clean and clear acne kit really helped. My skin broke out everywhere-my face, chest, back. My baby is already 4 months and my acne JUST cleared up. I am still dealing with a little bit but for the most part it is gone and now I am just dealing with all of the scars that it left behind. I am using the Neutragena acne mark fading cream. It is a small blue bottle that costs about 14 dollars.
Avatar n tn I am 25 years old, 6 weeks pregnant with my third baby.. my acne is out of control!! I've never had acne this bad (whether I was pregnant or not) anyone else experiencing this? I clean and moisturize my face daily. Any good products to recommend?
1055487 tn?1254208665 I was diagnosed with a rare ovarian cancer a year ago, had a tumour the size of an orange and an ovary removed. No further treatment. I have regular scans and CA125 tests. So far, no recurrance. I am very worried as my skin is very, very pale and some days my cheeks are yellow! Can you suggest what could be wrong?

Avatar f tn A few months ago, my face just randomly broke out everywhere, starting with my chin, and within a week was completely covered with acne. I then started using an acne kit called Clean and Clear Advantage, but that only dried out my skin and made it peel pretty badly. During use, the majority of my left cheek started sort of bubbling and swelling up a bit, thinking it was due to the dryness of my face from the acne kit, i stopped using it.
Avatar n tn Hi Sir, I used to get pimples around my face, back and chest however I had undergone a treatment and the problem subsided eventually however the moment I left the treatment I again started getting pimples or some kind of infection. I am again undergoing a treatment and the doctor says that this is a normal concern....I got some reports done and everything is fine.. Please let me know how long will this continue? will I be ever able to get rid of this medication?
