If you do get depressed
and do go on antidepressants, it is easy to go off of them after treatment
. Many of them you do have to taper off of them, but that is relatively fast and there should be no problems. No, you do not get a rebound deficiency.
I think most of the people on the forum who are on antidepressants were already depressed or had histories of major depression.
