Quick question... which Depo are you on? There are two kinds, that I'm aware of: Depo Provera or Depo Lupron. I had tried the Provera when I was about 16 for about a year. I had to stop because I could not handle the side effects any longer. I did spot for about 3 months. It usually takes a few months for your system to get used to it. The Lupron stops your period completely and basically puts your body into menopause, which is the one I am currently on.

And my doctor said that it only lasts for three motnhs, and I think I might be pregnant... I started spotting about three weeks ago and it lasted for two weeks. (I stopped spotting a week ago) but when the spotting stopped I started getting food cravings, and my boobs have been hurting. I also feel bloated. me and boyfriend dont use contraception because of the birth control I was on, but now I don't know what to do, because I could be pregnant or my period could just be late...

m outside the normal range of time after stopping Depo Provera to have gotten my periods back. Could Depo be causing these problems or does it sound like something else could be a problem?

The whole point of the provera is to kick start a period.. Its doesn't have "withdraw bleeding. I was told that if I hadn't gotten a normal period in 2 weeks to go back as something could be wrong. But luckily.. My period started that night without the meds .
