Did you know that some dental providers will accept both insurance and a dental discount plan togeather? It took me about 5 phone calls but I know it was worth it. On my first visit I had 3-cavitys filled. The cost after my insurance was $144. factor in the dental discount plan and my out of pocket cost was only $14!!! I know that Valtrex is expensive and I was wondering if any of you take it, and if so how much difference does it make? I will go on it if it makes a world of differences, but if not, probably will just wait till i have my own insurance in a few years.

i have blueshield it is horrible it doesnt cover anything.i actually had to get medicaid on top of that because blueshield doesnt cover anything until you actually pay $2000 worth of bills.

Hello, Gum bleeding can have different reasons. Are you taking any new medication ? Are you taking Aspirin ? Are you flossing daily ? Are you going to your cleanings every 6 month ? I had bleeding gums too. My Periodontist said I have some mild gum disease. I had to get a deep cleaning and some antibiotics on some areas. And I no bleeding since. If you have dental insurance I would go to the dentist or periodontist.

Since I haven't had dental insurance in many years, I've neglected my dental health. I do brush my teeth everyday, floss, and use mouthwash. Last year I had a back molar removed because I cracked it and could not afford a crown. My middle teeth on the bottom are beginning to shift. I had braces as a teenager and my teeth were very straight. My gums bleed on the bottom every time I brush. I know this is a sign a periodontal disease or maybe gingivitis?

so then i heard that zofran is way better so i asked my doctor for it so he prescribe it but then i found out my insurance does not cover it and i would have to pay 100$for 30 pills. but people tell me normally moring sickness goes alway at around 14 weeks so i don't know if i should buy it would you guys buy it or just wait.

This a program that donates dental work to those who do not have dental insurance or state funded insurance. I think there is some type of income standards, but it is worth a try. What you would have to do is fill out all paperwork to see if you meet the qualifications for the program. They would then set you up for a exmination with one of the local participating dentist. Last time I skipped the peridontal xray, but got the cavity xray and cleaning...he found 2 tiny cavities that ran me $400 out of my pocket but later a hygenist said maybe that wasn't necessary as the decay could have been reversed... Three days ago while eating pound cake of all things, my crowns/bridge fell out. I no longer have dental insurance, live in a different state than before, am in severe pain and my jaw is swelling. Right now we are on cobra GHI( extension from my previous work place) but they are asking me to change to EMPIRE PPO or EPO since they will not have GHI. I had one done a couple weeks ago and it was very worth it!! I loved it, it was soo much fun and at the place we did it was awesome! Insurance never covers the 3d/4d ultrasound because theyre elective and for fun only so its ut of pocket for everyone. But it was worth the drive, for us it took about 45 minutes to get there but we didnt mind at all.

okay so I'm 22 weeks 5 days and I haven't really been happy with my doctor. Basically because I ask her questions and she doesn't really answer them/makes me feel uncomfortable. Hello, I can't remember the last time I was at the dentist but at the time the dentist said I had no cavities. Now I'm 21 and I have a cavity in on of my top molars. I don't know what to do, I don't have dental insurance and I really don't have the money to get it fixed. I don't want to wait any longer and have it get any worse but I don't have the extra arm and a leg the dentists charge.

t decide if I should go with Aetna High deductable plan 3000 or something like a Plan 100 2500 deductable from United HealthOne as long as I can get a HSA with either. It seems like UHO has a dental plan that is better at twice the price but I not sure if I will be ahead. What are something other things I should try to calculate in this? Does anyone have pet insurance or have any experience with it? I know my kitties are old enough it wouldn't be worth it but I have a troublemaking puppy (Skeeter) who should have it- the vet actually told me to get it for her. Especially if Taz gets ahold of her. He HATES her. Oliver wasn't so bad when she was smaller than him but really doesn't care for her now- she likes to bark at him. Lucy couldn't care less- unless she lunges at her.
