Avatar m tn I was diagnosed with ADHD when i was in highschool an have been taking adderal since then. Recently, I had taken a month and a half break from it because of the holidays bringing an easier schedule for me. Now that school is in session again with a full course schedule, I started taking 20mg adderall again. I have recently also been hired to a new internship working upwards of 20-27 hours a week if busy. It's now time for midterms, which has required a bit more of me to say the least.
Avatar f tn I live in NM and contacted the Public Regulations Commission here to file a complaint against Blue Cross in relationship to my insurance being cancelled before I was fired from work. It seems they investigate if you have a complaint and in your case hopefull will force your insurance co. to look into this. I am so sorry, maybe you can look into legal aid and see if they have any recommendations for a medicare attorney. I would also see if you can get any help from the Public Health Dept.
Avatar n tn hi, i don't have any dental insurance so I need to pick and choose which tests and procedures at the dentist are really needed. I ask you this because I hope to find unbiased opinion. Last time I skipped the peridontal xray, but got the cavity xray and cleaning...he found 2 tiny cavities that ran me $400 out of my pocket but later a hygenist said maybe that wasn't necessary as the decay could have been reversed... So what do I "really" need..
402205 tn?1230481005 00 AM ET Washington - How would you feel about your personal health information flowing freely over the Internet between public health officials, healthcare providers, insurance and data clearinghouse companies, and others – without your permission? If this doesn't sound like a good idea, it's time to become informed about federal health privacy law.
1027870 tn?1252056250 yes you too can have a dental plan that most reputable dentists will not accept! i would love to go to a dental mill full of new, inexperienced dentists.
Avatar n tn I have dental insurance but as we all know the coverage has been less and less over the past few years so I looked into dental discount programs. Did you know that some dental providers will accept both insurance and a dental discount plan togeather? It took me about 5 phone calls but I know it was worth it. On my first visit I had 3-cavitys filled. The cost after my insurance was $144. factor in the dental discount plan and my out of pocket cost was only $14!!! Check it out at http://www.
Avatar f tn I'm from california and we get the pump provided by wic here, you should ask them at wic
Avatar n tn My husband (40 y/o,healthy)and I (40 y/o, healthy) are looking to get our health insurance coverage from next present. Right now we are on cobra GHI( extension from my previous work place) but they are asking me to change to EMPIRE PPO or EPO since they will not have GHI. I did not have dental and vision coverage previously but even if I want it they are saying they cannot add it. They are also asking for a one year committment.
Avatar n tn I am disabled on Original Medicare, have no intent to buy private insurance... I am wondering, is it possible for an individual to get real, stand alone dental insurance? Everything I've looked at caps yearly benefits at $1,000 or so which is completely insulting considering the premiums are close to half of that. Where can you buy dental insurance that gives you "REAL" coverage?
Avatar f tn Ok mommys that have medicaid . Will I get denied if I already have dental insurance but not health insurance?
6583170 tn?1385317938 Is anyone else worried about how their insurance is going to change? Is there anyway to find out ahead of time what will be covered in terms of l&d?
Avatar n tn t fill refills early or dispense new narcotics even if the patient pays cash to avoid insurance restrictions. Paying cash to avoid insurance scrutiny is a classic symptom of doctor-shoppers which is why the Feds have put even more regulations on pharmacies in these situations. Yes, if the prescribing instructions for the same medication are changed (increased) they can fill it and insurance will usually cover it but sometimes it takes a call to the doctor for verification.
Avatar m tn Hello, I can't remember the last time I was at the dentist but at the time the dentist said I had no cavities. Now I'm 21 and I have a cavity in on of my top molars. I don't know what to do, I don't have dental insurance and I really don't have the money to get it fixed. I don't want to wait any longer and have it get any worse but I don't have the extra arm and a leg the dentists charge.
Avatar f tn Hey Sarah I too am a college student looking for health insurance, I was curios to know what you chose and what worked for you. Also did you add dental to your health insurance, I cant find many quotes with both to know how much together they would cost.
Avatar m tn I am so far a healthy 43 year old/m in pa. I am trying to decide which health insurance plan will be good for my situation and I am looking for some opinions here. This Month my group plan ends and I can take cobra but there is no financial benefit to taking my same PPO plan which gives me to price break for being unemployed. So I am trying to look at this at a meaningful way. Since my PPO was $475/m plue $29 dental I just cant be paying that on my own now.
Avatar f tn I'm an insurance agent. It's based on IRS regulations, it's 66.7% (which it's two thirds) of your salary. Whatever you told your agent you made annually when you got your policy.
Avatar n tn I am just getting my own dental insurance next month, so I believe I would have to wait a year to see a periodontist with this particular insurance. If you have any suggestions on how to keep my gums as healthy as possible, so that I can avoid more problems, please let me know. Thanks so much.
Avatar n tn Are you from the U.S.? The dental office you described is extremely unusual. All dental offices are supposed to comply with OSHA regulations, even back to my old days while I pracised in N.Y.,20 years ago. The chance of transmission of pathogen to your body through dental treatment is low. If you do'nt feel comfortable with new office, you may need to visit other dental offices.
Avatar n tn Most states also have clinics that will help u with ur pregnancy and they will also help u get medicaid or some type of insurance. You will have to look under your states regulations for that.
Avatar f tn Also, see if there is a birth center near you. I know our local BC has options for families with no insurance. The total out of pocket to deliver there and be seen throughout the pregnancy is about $4500 compared to 3x that amount about the hospital.
Avatar n tn She really need some help. Does anyone know of a place that will take someone without dental insurance in Lake County, IL. She fears the infection may have entered her sinus cavity as last time she went in they told her she had a sinus infection. please help!!
946207 tn?1246134385 My mouth is full of dental problems- I have 8 abcessed teeth. One bad infection is in one of my front teeth that hurts all the way up under my sinus cavity. I HAVE TO be sedated at the dentist (been this way since I was young- had abusive dentist when I was little girl who caused me alot of pain). NO low-income dental clinics will sedate me and I can't afford a regular dentist/oral surgeon/sedation. I am 43 yo tomorrow and am going to die from these infections in my mouth.
Avatar f tn My teeth and gums are on fire! There's no swelling, just throbing aches. I don't have dental insurance. Besides using Orajel, what are natural ways to relieve tooth and gum pains that won't hurt my baby?
Avatar m tn I am planning on getting them removed soon due to recurrent infections and I was wondering if it is more cost effective to get a dental insurance plan or pay out of pocket. What are the typical cost to remove something like this? Will there be surgery required? How much will a good insurance plan cover or is it more cost effective to just pay out of pocket? Thank you.
