Avatar f tn Does anybody know of a Dental collage anywhere in Florida Or Alabama that does work for free or low cost ?
Avatar n tn I was wondering if anyone out there from Alabama could help me? I live in the Birmingham area, have no insurance and I am currently unemployed with little income. I have been addicted to opiates for almost 10years and heard great things about Suboxone. I have tried numerous times to kick this horrible addiction. I want to be put onto Suboxone and would like to know if there is a place to get it free? Very cheap?
Avatar m tn Hi, I have several dental spacers that are lodged in my gum from a previous dental procedure. They are lodged pretty deep but not at the apex of my gums. I believe there are about 2 but possibly there could be as many as 3 in there. I am planning on getting them removed soon due to recurrent infections and I was wondering if it is more cost effective to get a dental insurance plan or pay out of pocket. What are the typical cost to remove something like this? Will there be surgery required?
Avatar f tn I'm 7weeks and I haven't seen a doctor. Here in Alabama yu have to go thru gift of life first. But I had a miscarriage in February and I'm nervous for this pregnancy. What am I to do? I thought about going to the hospital.
Avatar m tn I need to find a pain doctor to continue my pain meds in northeast ALabama. I own a home there all paid for but can't live there unless I wanted to be in agony. So I'm stuck renting a place in Florida. FL is my home but I wanted to be able to live in the mtns. For my retirement. So I need a doctor there If you know of any let me know.
Avatar f tn For the last couple of months I have been in so much pain, a couple of times I could've sworn I was dying. I've been to doctor after doctor, even the ER once or twice. They have referred me to a neurologist, but I have no insurance and do not have $300 to spend on one appointment and that doesn't include CT scans and x-rays and MRIs. I had a CT scan at the emergency room which showed nothing.
Avatar n tn hi, i don't have any dental insurance so I need to pick and choose which tests and procedures at the dentist are really needed. I ask you this because I hope to find unbiased opinion. Last time I skipped the peridontal xray, but got the cavity xray and cleaning...he found 2 tiny cavities that ran me $400 out of my pocket but later a hygenist said maybe that wasn't necessary as the decay could have been reversed... So what do I "really" need..
Avatar m tn You can also contact your local dental society to see if there are any local free or low cost clinics which provide dental care as well.
909900 tn?1261091060 I'll make a general comment and ask one of our dental experts to chime in. IF you are not going to breed this dog (pet only) and the malocclusion is not bad, you frankly can have a long and happy life with this dog. Many dogs adopted from shelters, pure bred, mixed bred etc. have some degree of malocclusion. And they live normal lives without much extra-ordinary expenses for dental care (just normal cleaning etc).
1222635 tn?1366396286 we live in alabama..i am assuming that it is not required by law for insurance companies to cover TMJ, as BCBS of AL does not. any help is appreciated. my dentist told me my problem will only deteriorate without treatment and i am at a loss for what to do as we have no money.
Avatar m tn Insurance cost us so much each month, we could not pay for our own dental needs and went years without a dental check-up. My teeth had no issues, so I continued to go about my life and now that I am on Medicare, I can once again afford dental visits. My first visit the dentist told me I have severe bone loss and they want to remove all my teeth and add bone grafts from a cadaver to my jaw line and fit me with dentures. This is totally shocking, as I have no issues with my teeth at all.
1027870 tn?1252056250 yes you too can have a dental plan that most reputable dentists will not accept! i would love to go to a dental mill full of new, inexperienced dentists.
Avatar f tn I have Blue cross and blue shield through my job and I also have medicaid as a secondary insurance. I live in Alabama and maybe they have different insurance laws in other states I don't know. It's weird you were denied because of having a primary insurance when I was accepted.
Avatar n tn Looking for a Chiari Specialist in Alabama, North Georgia, South Tennessee, or East Mississippi?
Avatar f tn Thank you. I live in alabama and my insurance doesnt cover maternity.
867119 tn?1239410787 I don't know where you are from but in Alabama you can apply for Medicaid. It covers pregnancy related issues, contraception, pap smears and any kind of vaginal surgery that is causing you discomfort. If you get this insurance and you inform your doc that your fibroids are causing irregular bleeding, painful periods and excess bleeding during your period, you can have the surgery and pay little or nothing!! I work for DHR and I am very familiar with helping clients get coverage.
1069888 tn?1421936741 I have found on the site the name of Dr. Anthony Martino at the University of Southern Alabama Hospital. I called and also found that there is a NS by the name of Dr. William Scott. My question is... has anyone seen them or more specifically had their CHILDREN seen by them? I have been in contact with a friend of a family friend whose 4 year old daughter was just diagnosed. She is completely lost and clueless (I don't mean that in a rude way...
Avatar n tn I am disabled on Original Medicare, have no intent to buy private insurance... I am wondering, is it possible for an individual to get real, stand alone dental insurance? Everything I've looked at caps yearly benefits at $1,000 or so which is completely insulting considering the premiums are close to half of that. Where can you buy dental insurance that gives you "REAL" coverage?
Avatar f tn You would have to find a doc who does office methadone maintenence. A pain doc or clinic won't take someone from a clinic. I've been in this situation and it's a tough choice. You may have to make a tough choice or find a substitute drug.
Avatar f tn Ok mommys that have medicaid . Will I get denied if I already have dental insurance but not health insurance?
Avatar f tn My back top left molar keeps chipping/breaking off. I was chewing some gum before and a piece of it fell off. I had a root canal on that tooth too. What should I do if it gets bigger, the chipping. I have no dental insurance and I can't really pay to have it fixed or pulled out. I am on a fixed income, so it would be hard for me to pay for dental insurance. I don't have a drivers license either.
Avatar m tn Hello, I can't remember the last time I was at the dentist but at the time the dentist said I had no cavities. Now I'm 21 and I have a cavity in on of my top molars. I don't know what to do, I don't have dental insurance and I really don't have the money to get it fixed. I don't want to wait any longer and have it get any worse but I don't have the extra arm and a leg the dentists charge.
Avatar f tn Smh girl I lived in Alabama then moved to Florida now back in Alabama I'm trying to cancel my medicade for Florida so I can get back with my old doc cause I'm 33+1 and I need to see him but no one will answer the medicade office for Florida to cancelled it so I can get it started back in Alabama so I'm in a similar boat and its annoying
Avatar m tn $3000 deductible, other than the fact that the plan with the higher deductible should save you around $250 a year in premiums (which means in 2 years you would save the $500 difference in the deductible by paying lower premiums), there isn't a lot of difference. Both carriers you have mentioned are well reputed, stable carriers, it is just that Aetna is PA based and not likely to leave the Individual market in PA!
