229857 tn?1319029907 Do any of you have insurance for your pets? If so is it worth it and what is a good company? Thanks.!
Avatar n tn I have dental insurance but as we all know the coverage has been less and less over the past few years so I looked into dental discount programs. Did you know that some dental providers will accept both insurance and a dental discount plan togeather? It took me about 5 phone calls but I know it was worth it. On my first visit I had 3-cavitys filled. The cost after my insurance was $144. factor in the dental discount plan and my out of pocket cost was only $14!!! Check it out at http://www.
Avatar m tn Hello. I am a physician in a singapore hospital and yesterday i received a man that i will treat for a state mental impairment. Without health insurance this patient will die. Unfortunaltly he doesn't have a medical insurance. Do you have some advices to give about which health insurance will be the best for him?
290867 tn?1333569278 What am I suppose to do if my insurance expires through work because I am now on bedrest and my husband makes too much for us to get medicade. I live in Missouri any thoughts?
1168718 tn?1464983535 usually it just comes down to how much you are willing to pay for insurance. If you are older (65 ish) it is also harder to get insurance. My parents have a travel policy they pay yearly that covers any travel that year (they go away every winter south). My stepdad has a heart condition, back issues.
Avatar m tn Dear Sir, I am a 52 yr old male from Europe(The Netherlands)and enjoy excellent Health-Care controlled by the Government and obligatory by law accesible for everybody without prior medical examination(and affordable insurance-rates).
Avatar n tn hi, i don't have any dental insurance so I need to pick and choose which tests and procedures at the dentist are really needed. I ask you this because I hope to find unbiased opinion. Last time I skipped the peridontal xray, but got the cavity xray and cleaning...he found 2 tiny cavities that ran me $400 out of my pocket but later a hygenist said maybe that wasn't necessary as the decay could have been reversed... So what do I "really" need..
1981227 tn?1336328438 Travel insurance policies typically have exclusions with respect to pre-existing conditions, and require a specified period of stability of that condition prior to purchase, in order to be eligible for reimbursement, should you need to file a claim. The last policy I purchased required six months' stability of pre-existing condition in order to be covered, should I need to cancel/interrupt travel. Time periods vary so be sure to know the details of the specific policy.
1027870 tn?1252056250 yes you too can have a dental plan that most reputable dentists will not accept! i would love to go to a dental mill full of new, inexperienced dentists.
Avatar n tn My husband (40 y/o,healthy)and I (40 y/o, healthy) are looking to get our health insurance coverage from next present. Right now we are on cobra GHI( extension from my previous work place) but they are asking me to change to EMPIRE PPO or EPO since they will not have GHI. I did not have dental and vision coverage previously but even if I want it they are saying they cannot add it. They are also asking for a one year committment.
Avatar n tn I am disabled on Original Medicare, have no intent to buy private insurance... I am wondering, is it possible for an individual to get real, stand alone dental insurance? Everything I've looked at caps yearly benefits at $1,000 or so which is completely insulting considering the premiums are close to half of that. Where can you buy dental insurance that gives you "REAL" coverage?
1253246 tn?1332073310 She wasnts to get him put on her insurance(she just married)and I told her she needed to do this BEFORE he has a genuine diagnose.
Avatar f tn Call the department of insurance and inquire. There is now a federal option that has no preexisting exclusions, I am not sure how it is set up state to state and if the requirements are the same. I hope all this helps. I am an insurance broker so this is one area I can help in.
Avatar f tn Ok mommys that have medicaid . Will I get denied if I already have dental insurance but not health insurance?
Avatar f tn I have worked in the dental field for over 8 years and deal with dental insurance regularly. Every plan is so different and has so many limitations. You may have trouble getting a new insurance because it may be considered a pre existing condition. I have had that problem in the past with my back/hip problems and they won't cover anything to do with that issue. My tmj was luckily diagnosed by the surgeon while on this plan, so that is covered. I would check into it a little more.
Avatar m tn Hello, I can't remember the last time I was at the dentist but at the time the dentist said I had no cavities. Now I'm 21 and I have a cavity in on of my top molars. I don't know what to do, I don't have dental insurance and I really don't have the money to get it fixed. I don't want to wait any longer and have it get any worse but I don't have the extra arm and a leg the dentists charge.
Avatar f tn Hey Sarah I too am a college student looking for health insurance, I was curios to know what you chose and what worked for you. Also did you add dental to your health insurance, I cant find many quotes with both to know how much together they would cost.
Avatar m tn I am so far a healthy 43 year old/m in pa. I am trying to decide which health insurance plan will be good for my situation and I am looking for some opinions here. This Month my group plan ends and I can take cobra but there is no financial benefit to taking my same PPO plan which gives me to price break for being unemployed. So I am trying to look at this at a meaningful way. Since my PPO was $475/m plue $29 dental I just cant be paying that on my own now.
Avatar f tn Hi there, If you have high cholesterol, your Doctor's report will state "yes" for Heart disease. This is a legal requirement and when you apply for Life insurance, etc. you may find exclusions on your heart due to this. Your BP is normal and that is a good sign. Mild grade 1 murmur is a very common finding on an Echo and Doctors can even hear it with a stethoscope, but that is insignificant and nothing to be concerned about.
Avatar n tn I am just getting my own dental insurance next month, so I believe I would have to wait a year to see a periodontist with this particular insurance. If you have any suggestions on how to keep my gums as healthy as possible, so that I can avoid more problems, please let me know. Thanks so much.
Avatar n tn My question is, if something shows up during the physical or CT scan (for example, the scan finds a blocked artery) and later on I lose my COBRA coverage, will I be completely barred from coverage for whatever condition is revealed when I try to find new insurance? Or, if I can pick up new insurance within 63 days (HIPAA rule), does this become a non-issue? There is a possibility that if I lose my current coverage I can get on the group health plan of my father's company.
Avatar f tn Also, see if there is a birth center near you. I know our local BC has options for families with no insurance. The total out of pocket to deliver there and be seen throughout the pregnancy is about $4500 compared to 3x that amount about the hospital.
Avatar n tn She really need some help. Does anyone know of a place that will take someone without dental insurance in Lake County, IL. She fears the infection may have entered her sinus cavity as last time she went in they told her she had a sinus infection. please help!!
946207 tn?1246134385 My mouth is full of dental problems- I have 8 abcessed teeth. One bad infection is in one of my front teeth that hurts all the way up under my sinus cavity. I HAVE TO be sedated at the dentist (been this way since I was young- had abusive dentist when I was little girl who caused me alot of pain). NO low-income dental clinics will sedate me and I can't afford a regular dentist/oral surgeon/sedation. I am 43 yo tomorrow and am going to die from these infections in my mouth.
