So I'm trying to take a more positive approach starting today. Others around me seem to be getting on with their lives and leaving me behind. I made some calls to lift up my spirits and it did work a little but only for a short while after I hung up the phone. On to the computer, looking up some things I had put on the back burner. I finally got the cable remote synchronized with the new TV. Baby steps I guess. This did make me happy though. Then my thoughts went back to this community.

This forum is about life and death, not stars. We are all on an even playing field here and each and everyone of us has something valuable to contribute no matter how long we have been here or how long we have been clean or not. Our family here is different than some of the other forums as we do deal with life and death everyday. There are raw emotions and struggles everyday on this forum and we as addicts dont always take to the glitz and glamour as this is about us and trying to stay alive.

Today during physical therapy my neck cracked and caused sharp pains in my head and neck and I started seeing stars. Now about three hours later the stars have not gone away at all.
