424839 tn?1268186246 From this perspective, we must seek our goal and mission in something that transcends birth and death, something that we can give our whole life to. Only then can we tap the inexhaustible potential of life. In other words, we must advance beyond the mere struggle to stay alive and be prepared to ask ourselves for what purpose we live our lives.. While it is important to win, it's even more important to remain undefeated no matter what happens..

424839 tn?1268186246 In the first place it provides us with the courage to challenge both life and death. It enables us to see death not as some terrifying unknown but as a normal phase of existence that alternates with life in an eternal cycle. Second, it teaches us to treasure the life we are now living and to try to make it as worthwhile as possible.
476246 tn?1418870914 Hey lovely lady...I love that "Attitude" poem/quote, it's been a favorite of mine, since I first discovered it. I love collecting "quotes", and making some quotes of my own...you never know, when just one kind word might make another's day. I like this quote [excerpted from "A Return to Love"] "...let there be the possibility of a loving purpose in everything we think and do.
Avatar f tn as I know alot of my MH friends are as well... I thought it would be cool to get some of our favorite quotes in one place.... So, here's my first favorite and I'm sure I will post others later.... Can't wait to see yours as well... " If you can't convince them, confuse them!" -HARRY S.
Avatar f tn Thank you both very much for your comments. I agree with walking. That would be a help. Also, have been considering counseling. Grew up with a mother and Grandmother obsessed with looks.
579258 tn?1250649343 Your 2nd one reminded me of looking at life through the eyes of a child. I'm sure you've noticed that with children, "everything is a miracle", so I really, really appreciated your inspirational quote by Albert Einstein. Thank you so much. I am going to reflect on this today.... My youngest (6 years old) is 1350 miles away right now (in FL), so I am hearing 2nd hand the "cute" things she is saying.
424839 tn?1268186246 My question is about these quotes I have been posting I would like to know if I posted some on religon would that offend anyone being that must would be refferancing Buddhsium but when you read the quotes the can be transfered into anyones faith so I would like to know if people would be offended thanks.
Avatar n tn I truly believe that stress and/or mood has been my biggest trigger. Yes, certain foods like corn get me every time. But what never fails, guaranteed makes me sick are the stressful events like going back to school, worrying about my job, trying to lose 5 pounds, etc. The best thing I do is to repeat my mantra to let go of the things I cannot change. Take a few minutes every day and try some deep breathing. I take a hot bubble bath.
Avatar f tn Be sure you're getting some exercise. Just a nice long walk every day will help. And eating right. Cut out caffeine and sugars. And talk to someone, be it a family member, a good friend, your MD or a psychologist. If you don't want to go on medications, that's fine. Just attack this with exercise, talking about it (and some good cries!) and good nutrition. Maybe some supplements too. Fish Oil and Vitamin D3 are supposed to help depression.
Avatar m tn I have been seeing quotes from others and writing quotes, and others in detox are requesting more. I know in my darkest hours that I chanted, "There is no problem so big that drugs can't make it worse." What has helped or is helping you? God, Grant me the serenity to Accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.
1852502 tn?1319489882 I have prayed a lot for others who are suffering. Reading scripture and inspirational quotes helps. It is really hard to rid your mind of the negative thoughts and the "what if" thinking. I know God does not want me to live the rest of my life like this. I have so much love in my heart and want to share the love of God with others. I have gone from being an "in control" person, business owner, and caretaker to being a complete unstable mess in the past few months.
541150 tn?1306033843 Oh you did alot of typing there Apple, thx for sharing.....all the insights into the world of this marvelous creature called a CAT...no wonder we all love them so much!! ZQ, I MISS her too!
Avatar m tn Wow, good work, detective! How on earth did you find that :o)? I’m seriously impressed!
Avatar f tn Hey Pip I had the same problem but what I did I got an app and there's tons of them that you DL & they're full of positive quotes & inspirational sayings that'll help a lot! I also go to psych/counselor and talk 1x every 2 weeks which helps a lot I wasn't a big believer at first but it does help to talk to someone who's knowledgeable in the med anxiety/panic field.
Avatar f tn Maybe find an application on your phone that can give you daily inspirational quotes. Heck even read your horoscope, those are always posting even of it doesn't seem fit to your day every day. Drink and eat energizing stuff. The more iron in the item, the more in increases your red blood cells. Lack of iron will give you that extremely sleepy feeling. Vitamin B 12 is also safe to take while pregnant. And always reach out. Don't bottle anything up, it makes it worse.
