I have been missing the humor and quotes, lately so just thought I would pass this on. 'The trouble with quotes on the internet, is that you can neve know if they are genuine.'.

His occasionally dark, self-deprecating humor makes me cry with laughter. In his last book, he wrote a hilarious essay about a very "sober" topic: addiction. (Disclaimer: I don't mean to trivialize addiction in some of the quotes below- it's very serious, but it helps me to laugh at the "voice" of the addict within us. He was in town so I went to see him; I most interesting fellow, with amazing charisma and a quirky sense of humor. There was quite a diverse group that went to see him; it was fun! My question is about these quotes I have been posting I would like to know if I posted some on religon would that offend anyone being that must would be refferancing Buddhsium but when you read the quotes the can be transfered into anyones faith so I would like to know if people would be offended thanks.

Okay, this one I just thought was kinda funny (considering my cracked sense of humor) from my well loved local Neuro guy.......... When I first went to the neurologist, and hadn't received my prison sentence, uh...I mean...MS diagnosis..........(which beats the heck out of prison if you ask me, with my luck I'd wind up in a cell with a girl with facial hair and a penchant for canes.........) I asked the Neuro, do you think I should get a handicap sign for my car?

I have to laugh at myself... and am very open with others in regards to my mental issues. Don't hide it well anyway, poker face has never been a talent of mine. Laughing is the best medicine. (if you can muster it up). I don't get too defensive when others poke fun... more so when they don't take it seriously. THAT is frustrating and does make it difficult to fnd humor in my situation. I always say, "self-deprecating humor is only funny when I use it".

Then drove 25 miles before he got cell phone service. He was lively and still has a sense of humor and doesnt regret it not one iota he says. What a guy!
