dealing with death bible verses

I deal with depression from time to time with severe disabling results. I find prayer and reading my Bible very helpful. Does anyone have favorite parts of the Bible they are willing to share. I also am responsible for sending cards to people in my church that are sick, depressed, stressed or mourning the loss of a loved one. Anything shared with me personally might be used on a card if I think it might be appropriate or helpful. Thank you for your input.

I would not put to much stock into the number 23, remember the numbering of the chapters and verses of the Bible was done by man, not God (I am not saying the Bible isn't inspired because it is, just that the numbering was added to assit in reading and studying). I too have a strong faith in Jesus and have had thoughts of death, but know it is just from my anxiety and depression.

But I think that with this sharing comes a responsibility to do it in a way that welcomes others verses making them feel less for where they are in their journey compared to yours. then see a psychiatrist to be evalutated and a therapist to help give you the toolss needed for dealing with depression and to get all the emotional baggage off your back that you have been toting around. I found the therapy to be the best thing in my treatment you hang in there and dont be so hard on yourself.

My Grandson was 30 years old and he passed away from an accidental drug overdose. He had many drugs in his system, Fentanyl, Oxycodone, Alcohol, and Xanex. He was a great person, everyone who knew him liked him. He lived with me since he was about 12 or 14. He was like my son. He has a four-year-old boy who is having a hard time with his Dad's death. Anyway, many people will not like this question, but that is OK. I am not very religious, but I do believe in God.

You must replace your ex with a love of your wounded inner child. Treat your hurt feelings not with self-criticism, but as a cherished child that it is your new job to take exquisite care of. Physician, tend thy own wound. Third: Getting over someone is all about time management. Recognize that this is your full time job. Time management is pain management. Discover what things help you the most and do them more. What parts of the day are the most painful? Plan them differently.

As for the wills, i will be going over them with my lawyer for his help. He has ways with dealing with unruleing people. So that will help me with stress levels. I tell my daughter that babies are stars in heaven & God picks which stars go to the mommies & daddies. I'm so sorry for your loss & could not imagine your pain. I have 3 sisters & know how special that relationship is. I believeyour sister has met your baby & will be there with you when she is born. It would be a beautiful blessing if your baby carries some characteristics of your sister.

I read the Bible and know the history of the Bible. People make the mistake of thinking it is the infallible Word of God. It is a Book that has been passed down and rewritten time and time again. Once I accepted this I don’t get bent out of shape over the “Bull ****” God or what ever you chose to call him/her, is a Spirit (it says so in the Bible), and is not contained by a book. The #1 reason that Atheists and Agnostics use is the Bible.

s already been a year. Anybody else dealt with or are dealing with something similar.? I know hormones are a big factor as well but I just can't seem to stop crying and get out of bed. I feel so drained emotionally.

Just like falling in love takes time so does dealing with a passing of a loved one.Just opposite ways of feeling.Love and loss,two parts of life that both hurt.For loving anyone or anything,such as a pet can lead to pain.All feelings lead to pain and despair,eventually.So do we stop feeling,stop loving,stop caring,no we just learn to adjust to our new lives without that loved one that pet,that friend.whom ever.Death ends a life,not a relationship.

I dont call her or bother with her, and in dealing with him with the child, i deal with him, i dont deal with her. I dont even have to speak with her at all. So thats how that works on that end. but what we've done has nothing to do with him being a father to his child.( not saying that you said it would though) i am just saying .

I've noticed alot of people have been dealing with their chronic pain,some for a long time. I have been struggling on trying to cope with my chronic pain (rsd-both hands),and trying to comprehend on how I will be able to cope with this for what will most likely be a lifetime, unless it goes into remission. How do you cope with pain?

So there are a number of examples in the Bible. But on the other extreme, some people think that you need to walk every day in doubt of your relationship with the Lord. And the Bible is very clear that we can have an assurance of our relationship with Him.
