dark brown discharge yaz

Week ago I spotted red blood with clots - this lasted for two days, now back to dark brown discharge. I went off the pill Yaz in October last year as this was causing migraines. Once i was off the pill my period stopped and only came back this month in the new year. While having this light brown period I have had no period cramps at all, slight breast sensitivity-now there is none. Can someone please give me an idea on what this is & any suggestions. Im 24 years old. Thank you!!

I know that the ring can cause women to completely skip their periods from time to time too...but, this dark brown period was alarming! Is dark brown discharge a sign of pregnancy? Like, does it meant that your period is trying to stop?

Could this be implantation or regular spotting while on Yaz? I have also been having diarrhea since the day before i had brown discharge. Could this be the cause of the spotting?

I have had brown discharge with clotting and have like little fragment looking things in my urine yesterday. Well today I have some red bleeding with some of the still brown discharge. My period is normally heavy Iv been on birth control since I was young due to prolonged periods. I am also experiencing cramping but its all still light this is my second day of it. I took a pregnancy test 2 days before missed period test picks up 5 days before test came up neg.

Also along with my bleeding I had light brown discharge with no odor, my period has stopped but the brown discharge is continuing..is this normal? or is there something wrong?

Any blood from that *area* that is brown or dark is considered old blood. ANd like Laura said, switching BC can mess your cycle up. I went from BC pills to the Depo shot and I bled for 5 weeks straight...all which was old blood. If your that worried you can have your doc run a pregnancy test on you, and you can speak to him/her about the side effects that you may have with yaz. I agree with Laura, I don't think you are pregnant, I think it's just your hormones from switching BC.

And then about a week and a half ago, I had sex again (this time with a condom), and I noticed this light brown discharge in my underwear. This has continued up until today. Sometimes it's dark, sometimes light. Sometimes it's heavy, and sometimes I hardly notice it at all. I took my first placebo pill last night, and the discharge has completely stopped.

hey my sister took yaz for 3 months and she had bad side effects, unable to get out of the bed due to having very bad stomach pains that pepto bismo would only ease the pain for a few minutes. she had to get several tests done because of all the pain she was in, she is currently going through a lawsuit with yaz because of what it has done to her.

I stopped yaz for a month then started it again. I also had the same symptom after starting yaz again. My doctor change my birth control bill back to Ortho Tri- Cycle Lo this month.

I started spotting around 2 weeks before my next period and its lasted about a week now. Its a brown discharge like color sometimes with little red blood and very small clots.
