I think its both positive and negative. It teaches the kids the dangers of smoking/second hand smoke and the problems it can cause as well as the result od death. As for the negative, the kids with the smoking patents are now worrying about losing their parent(s) due to the day care. Im an ex smoker myself.
m very good about taking the pill on time and I even take the sugar pills which is supposed to be the time when you have your period. I have probably missed a pill or two during the years I've been taking it but again I have never had any problems. I am sexually active and my partner and I sometimes have unprotected sex. I worry that sometimes I may be pregnant because my periods will be light sometimes and heavy with clots other times.

Hi. I'm just curious in people's opinions of something. I am an ex smoker. No longer have the habit. My child's daycare have been taught that smoking kills people etc.. so move away from people if they're smoking. A lot of parents from the daycare have come in abusing the child care Centre as they're smokers and there young children keep telling them they're going to die.
i still think pot is not harmful in small quantities, like one time a week for example just to relax for a while. my question is the following, lately ive been under a lot of stress and throughout my whole life ive suffered from anxiety disorders. I was told once by a psychiatrist that i had a bipolar disorder and prescribed me carbamazepine and 300mg seroquel pills. thats when my parents decided to send me to a free-drug rehab. and it worked i quit every pill....
I should have simply stated WHAT it was, not pontificated about the legality of it. It was almost like I was regressing to my own smoking of it and the BS I told my mom. I strongly suspect that technique and the level of skill of the attending technician has more to do with the pain factor than the actual mechanics of the process, itself. Moreover, it's a proven fact that Mammography can reveal many breast abnormalities... many of which can lead to Breast Cancer.
I agree with bluebutterfly and zouzi... the benefits of detection far outweigh any discomfort from testing.
Hi Jada, and welcome to the fourm. You can definately have a cyst while on birth contorl pills. Sometimes the doctor will put you on BCP's to see if it will help keep you from developing cysts, but you can still develope them while taking the pill. I would ask your doctor for a transvaginal ultrasound. It will help the doctors tell what is going on. Please call your doctor tomorrow and see if you can get an appointment. I would suggest calling your gyn for the advice on what to do.
re most likely laid up, I would like to suggest a website called whyquit.com. While your recovering, you can educate yourself on the dangers of smoking. You are very young and quitting now will be a lot easier than 10 or 20 years from now.
To answer your question simply though; YES, one or two cigs a day will hurt you!

i have been reading up on detoxing and the dangers this could have on my fetus. yesterday i used a small dose of sub, i usually only need a small sliver from my 8mg strip to ward off withdrawls, and today i took about the same amount. i hope to be able to taper down to nothing by only taking the suboxone when i feel the withdrawls coming on. So what i want to know is, i guess how safe this will be for my baby. i would like to be drug and sub free in less than two weeks.
I feel I have kickstarted the weight loss but I do understand that this is a drastic way of losing weight, however I think the dangers of being obese somewhat outway the dangers of taking amphetamines short term to lose weight (as long as you have no other pre-existing conditions). So perhaps it's a good idea to continue to lose weight without the pills and see how you go.
