I understand that smoking is extremely addictive, but there are certain things we do for our kid that are very hard, and one of them is being pregnant, taking care of our bodies while pregnant and nursing (and I am not even talking about giving birth!). I used to smoke but I quit right away after I found out I was pregnant. You have to be strong find ways to deal with your stress instead of smoking I know it's hard I've had to deal with stress and depression every single day I went thru some hard times but always convinced myself smoking wasn't an optionbe strong for your Baby.

I don't think its as bad as alcohol and ciggarets, but I would def cut back and ask for something for nausea. Cause they will test the baby if he/she has withdraws, and will either make you pay a fine or charge you with endangerment of a minor.
Okay im 20 weeks pregnant ill be 21 weeks pregnant Friday i found out i was pregnant Nov 16th n before i found out i was pregnant i was smoking weed but once i found out i stopped smoking for like 3weeks n then it was like every two weeks once a week but a few times out of
that day. Now its all i wanna do and its the only thing that keeps me calm and not sick i can't really keep my food down or wanna eat unless i smoke weed i also smoke cigarettes .
Haha, that's how you know you're going to be a good mother when you feel bad for a dream. I don't understand smoking pot while pregnant, then again I've never done it not pregnant either, I really don't feel the need to. I just like to stick to, if it may harm my baby why risk it?

Not only is the action of smoking itself is detrimental to the health of the baby, but we do not know how cannabis intake can affect the developing brain. If you smoke cigarettes you should also stop, because they can cause miscarriage, premature and low birth weight infants, as well as other complications at birth.

I have anxiety issues so smoking weed release it. I did not know I was pregnant. I am not smoking now and my husband said I didn't smoke enough to hurt baby but I'm worried. I just want a healthy baby. I take pills for depression & anxiety but I cut down on a lot of those and I hope nothing happens to the baby.

I know someone who smoked heavy heavy weed while pregnant. Her son is a little **** won't behave, bites her, acts a general idiot, lacks skills such as walking (he is now 17 months) doesn't sleep at all and solid food won't pass his lips he just won't eat. She took him to the docs and the first thing they asked was did she use illegals while pregnant. She denied it.. Now he's being monitored for learning difficulties.
I will say this cigarettes are a lot worse than weed during pregnancies do your research on weed while pregnant and cigarettes while pregnant let us know y'all come up with..I was just at the doctors and this lady had a cigarette in her mouth 8 months pregnant but if it was a joint the police would have been called moms should get arrested for cigarettes just like weed...cigarettes kills adults so what do u think it does to a baby? what does weed do to adults?exactly!!!!
So, I have heard both good & bad about smoking pot while pregnant. I'm 6 weeks along & I enjoy smoking pot, but I don't want it to effect my babys development. I am willing to quit for the sake of my child but if it doesn't effect it, I don't see why I can't. I just keep getting different things about it.

Smoking causes low birth weight babies. My hubbies mom smoked through her pregnancy and went into premature labor and my hubby was born with cerebal palsey. Keep trying to cut back you can do it!
