I think its both positive and negative. It teaches the kids the dangers of smoking/second hand smoke and the problems it can cause as well as the result od death. As for the negative, the kids with the smoking patents are now worrying about losing their parent(s) due to the day care. Im an ex smoker myself.

The most dangerous thing that could happen would be for her to eat any of the marijuana or to get any food (cakes etc) prepared with it. Then she would be in trouble. Hi. I'm just curious in people's opinions of something. I am an ex smoker. No longer have the habit. My child's daycare have been taught that smoking kills people etc.. so move away from people if they're smoking. A lot of parents from the daycare have come in abusing the child care Centre as they're smokers and there young children keep telling them they're going to die.

Now, one of the people in that couple has COPD that is not caused by smoking but by years of working with those toxic chemicals when they had their own company. They were unaware of the dangers.

I should have simply stated WHAT it was, not pontificated about the legality of it. It was almost like I was regressing to my own smoking of it and the BS I told my mom. With COPD we have to be very careful of what we are exposed to breathing wise. I am in the moderate stage of COPD. I have noticed that certain smells really bother me now. my wife is taking chantix to stop smoking and when she finishes the first month of chantix can she then take welbutrin as it is not as strong. The chantix is giving her bad dreams.

I have a pacemaker and it is keeping me alive. I am paced at 100% which means if I did not have this device, I would not be here. I was told by my doctor not to quit smoking cold turkey because the stress you will endure from that is more likely to harm the baby then the smoking itself. The baby does not get the most harmful part which is the crap you are inhaling into your lungs; just the nicotine, or in this case HTC. I am not telling you to light up a blunt everyday but a happy you makes a happy baby.

I just quit..at 5 weeks im almost 8 now..it was really hard at first cause the craving was serious but everytime I thought of a cig I instantly thought of my baby's health and the fact that I was in the week where its heart started to form I couldn't even imagine picking up another cig knowing that my baby is depending on me to keep its environment as safe as possible.

Hi and welcome to the forum! I'm sorry you had such terrible injuries. Sounds like you might be lucky to be alive. Why not celebrate your life by giving up those smokes completely. Smoking one or two cigs a day will just prolong your cravings forever and ever and soon you will be smoking full time again. If your intent is to quit, why not start using one of the smoking aids offered today if you feel you can't get through the cravings.

So I did, and the landlord told me people are allowed to do whatever they want in their own rented unit.
