I think its both positive and negative. It teaches the kids the dangers of smoking/second hand smoke and the problems it can cause as well as the result od death. As for the negative, the kids with the smoking patents are now worrying about losing their parent(s) due to the day care. Im an ex smoker myself.

I cough non stop throughout the day, even when i do not smoke. Im not sure if i have an infection or what and seeking advice..
Hi. I'm just curious in people's opinions of something. I am an ex smoker. No longer have the habit. My child's daycare have been taught that smoking kills people etc.. so move away from people if they're smoking. A lot of parents from the daycare have come in abusing the child care Centre as they're smokers and there young children keep telling them they're going to die.
It is highly likely that both are related to heavy smoking. And, yes, hard coughing can sometimes be a cause of blood in the sputum, but should it ever happen again you should definitely have your lungs checked-out. It is very likely that your symptoms will persist as long as you continue to smoke.

Hi ladies I have a question, me and my hubby used to smoke hookah alot but ever since I found I was pregnant I obviously stopped, I am 34wks pregnant and my hubby recently started Smoking hookah again but the VAPORIZOR one, the one that you smoke out the pen.
I was put on 50 mg of zoloft a month ago and have had nausea ever since. It seems like it's been getting worse over the last couple of weeks. Yesterday I was prescribed Ondansetron ODT 4mg. It doesn't seem to help. Will the nausea go away?
I have been experiencing a sporadic squeaking sound on a deep inhale, for about six months now. I also sometimes, feel a bubbly sensation under my ribcage, by my sternum, slightly to the left. At first, I thought that was a digestive issue, but after reading another persons similar experience, I wonder if the two are related. I cannot find a pattern to the symptoms, or make a connection. My doctor thought it might be allergies.
Since coming off implant my period has been erratic between 31-36 day cycles….. Today i am on the 36 day of my menstrual cycle and there is no sign of my period coming…..
Someone told me to check my cervix incase and all there is there is white gloppy mucus…. I am also feeling a watery bubbly feeling down below which makes me think I'm having my period but when i go to toilet nothing there i have had this for 4 days now…..
re most likely laid up, I would like to suggest a website called whyquit.com. While your recovering, you can educate yourself on the dangers of smoking. You are very young and quitting now will be a lot easier than 10 or 20 years from now.
To answer your question simply though; YES, one or two cigs a day will hurt you!

I am wondering...is this anything like quitting smoking? I smoked for 23 years, and could not imagine life without my "best friends", my cigarettes. I mean...what would I do when the phone rang, when I got in the car, after I was done eating, when I went out, sat next to the pool, etc etc. I remember thinking how will I EVER ENJOY life again without my cigarettes.
SIDS as well as second hand smoke dangers to you and you baby are important considerations in maintaining health for both of you. There are good prescription options for quitting smoking if your husband is willing to discuss them with his doctor. Chantix has had great success and well as Wellbutrin and quitting will keep him healthier for his baby too.

Why risk something that has been scientifically proven to affect an unborn fetus? Science was a whole lot different for our parent's generation, scientist know so much more about the dangers of smoking than before. I just couldn't see myself taking chances like that knowing as many negative stories about it.
Re-reading what I wrote and feel a bit daft! I do agree with everyone else here! I was ignorant myself of the dangers of it, so am more educated now thanks to the good people here. I feel stupid for stating that it's legal.
Alcohol is legal. It almost killed me and TG I haven't had a drink for several years. I wish I could take my post down. I agree that it is something to be more concerned with, and feel like my post was way too blase.

My daughter and her BF had a roomate that smoked that stuff. It's not good. Apparently it is herbs with something that they call synthetic THC. A bunch of chemicals. Here in Utah they are making it illegal because it's considered hazerdous. Google "smoking spice dangers" and there is alot of stuff on it. I think it is telling that there is a push in some states to legalize pot, and yet they are banning that stuff right and left.
