My brother doesn't have it all the time because he will shave his head himself. They are Muntant Lice.
My 2 children both had a case of head lice this past summer. I treated both of them but have been extremely paranoid every since. I always am checking their heads and mine. I have been seeing white things in their hair but they easily brush off. It seems like dandruff. This is all located around the ear area. Do I need to worry? I first noticed slight itching around the bottom side of my penis, on the soft skin right below the head a couple of days before Thanksgiving. Nothing serious, it almost tickled. That came and went for about 2 weeks. On a Thursday night 2 weeks after Thanksgiving I masturbated with Lubriderm Skin Therapy fragrance free, usually a pretty mild moisturizer. The next morning I woke up with a terribly itchy, burning, puffy (slightly inflammed) rash on my penis.
A few days ago, I went to get my hair cut to lessen the weight on my head and the barber caught her comb in a snarl and pulled a section of my hair very hard. It feels like I was cut with a razor right where she pulled. I can feel EXACTLY where she pulled out the few hairs. It is severe and I don't know what is wrong. This was 5 days ago and it hurts very bad. I have seen several doctors for the scalp pain and they are still not sure what caused this or how to treat it.
Prior to the cold baths, I used to feel them crawling in my ears, on my head and on my eyelashes, feet and genitals. Don't listen those negative responders. I do not see anything visible as far as bites, but I always find bumps almost like insect bites in my scalp, usually the back of the head. This always occurs when the condition is very bad. I have had relatives experience the same symptoms when they sleep at my home. I have come to the conclusion that this is a type of mite/parasite that no one is familiar with in the U.S. If someone is having the same symptoms and has found the problem, please let me know.
