I've have dry flaky skin under my beard and eyebrows pretty much all the the time. I apply moisterizer after my showers and in the mornings before work...to no effect. It doesnt itch or burn...just flaky and embarrasing because i look like i've been eating glazed donuts or soemthing. I drink plenty of water daily and i take multivitamins as well. not sure why i mention that but if that informations helps. Is there any suggestions as to what i can to do solve this problem?
Please help my fiance. His symptoms: intermittent redness on tops of cheeks w/itchiness, intermittent dry red patches on forehead, intermittent redness on bridge of nose w/excessive oil production. Severe dandruff on his head, sideburns & beard. HIs face becomes aggravated after shavng and sometimes acts up just from washing w/water. Large amounts of dry skin in his ears. Also, 10-20 tiny whiteheads from his upper neck to his forehead.
after lookin at the symptoms i have been having it for probly a while becuase i always had bad dandruff when i was growin up. i been having this mark on my chin for at least 2-3 years thats been dry and flaky. i noticed it everytime i cut my beard hair. well about a year ago i got it on my cheek and then on my mustache and in nasal folds and between my eyebrows.
s called felicitous if my spelling is correct, I took a medication then I felt every thing was perfect the big ball on the back side under the hair gone and the lymph node went normal. The lymph node was not painful. Four month later I noticed that when I shave my bear my face is hurting me and when the hair grown up it become so etichy and the area is so red, and when the hair grow up more the area become so etichy.
Hi, i kissed my girl friend many times and she seems to develop sebhoric dermatitis look alike rash under her nose and sometimes under her lower lip. She told me that she used to have this around her nose in winters but never experienced these kind of rashes on the lips skin. What possibly that could be ? I have sebboric dermtitis too and dandruff too. She also had a nodular acne like bump on her arm which lasted for quite a while and she said she never had that before too.
I am a 32 yr old male and this problem has been going on forever. I get red spot all over my face in my mustache bridge of nose sides of nose eyebrows and ears. They get really flaky and i pick at them if i don't people can see it and when i pick at it it leaves a red spot. My ears are the worst the inside of my ear is always really flaky all the time. I pick at it and it comes right back.
It seems to be quite acute and I seem to hv white head or dandruff (not sure) on my beard. Also I hv noticed my skin becomig dry and minor scratch/press can lead to red marks. (eg if I keep my elbow on my thighs for a few seconds, it leaves a red blotch. Wonder what is this condition. I am horrified by his since I was moving on after getting low risk advice on my HIV exposure.
My qn is - are folliculitis, dandruff, redness appear early in HIV cycle (wihin 8 months of exposure).
The dry skin problem is nothing new I have had dry skin (extreme dandruff) on scalp,
beard, etc. but the problem has gotten worse lately.
lately the skin under chin becomes reddish (raw) easily after shaving and burns slightly.
The other major problem is that I seem to only be able to sleep when I am extremely tired (been without sleep for long time), I also get disturbed sleep,
Many times I go to bed at 11 pm but only get sleep at around 4 am, I then wake up at around 1.30 pm.
Hi. Just over 2 years ago a rash appeared on both sides of my face in my beard area. They spread along my beard to my chin. During which time I visited the doctor 2 or 3 times and was told I have Seborrhoeic Dermatitis. Each time I was given steriod cream which done nothing to help. More recently my whole face has become inflamed (and I mean my whole face including my forehead). It itches and looks horrible. My face has also become very oily.
but in the past 2-3 years or so i will get red patches on my face and the skin seems to be white and flaky in those areas. i also get dandruff sometimes and use Neutrogena T/Gel to help control it. however, the flaky, red skin on my face seems to come and go. i have been using a facial scrub that my wife suggested and although it does seem to help if i miss a day it comes right back.
I've read countless times that coconut oil is a simple cure for dry, flaky skin. I'm wondering if it's safe to use on my face, under my beard. My skin can get so dry that I can peel off big clumps under my beard, causing bleeding. It looks nasty and feels unclean. It's been this way for about seven years, though I've had a beard for about ten.
I picked at a pimple scab under my beard on the right side of my chin repeatedly, and subsequently an infection occurred which is a growth and swelling under the skin with slight visible protrusion of the area. It is sore to press or squeeze my face there and the skin under my beard there has a purplish and reddish color in a local area at about the middle of the swelled area. ve always had some weak spots along my cheek-line and under my lower lip, and my mustache is what I would consider present, but very weak compared to my beard.
So that's why I've been tossing ideas in my head about how to solve those weak areas, thus the question on possible hormone prescription, natural remedy or even using Rogaine on my face. I may seriously give the Rogaine a shot after reading about how it works, but that's really a shot in the dark.
The rash started on the right side of my neck and quickly spread to the centre then to the left side it is red and pimply in some spots, felt like there was something under the skin in another spot

Hi! I cut my beard and noticed under my beard a large spot with different pigmentation...so after I shaved completely I've seen spots around it. Couple of days later, it got worse. Skin is a little bit darker and spots go little bit around the neck with the big one still in the middle of my neck (where adam's apple is).
What could it mean? I've read diabetes, cancer etc., but I would like to hear opinions because I'm unable to go to the doctor for the next couple of weeks...
Now I am 26 my head, beard, chest, and even pubic area are gray. I have always had dandruff and have seen many doctors and have had extensive bloodwork done with no success. My skin does not tolerate shampoo or any topical medication that I have been given by doctors so now I do not use any. I was orphaned at birth so i do not know if my situation is hereditary.
Balding throughout goatee and beard. This all started a few years ago while changing jobs and moving away from family. Would stress have an impact on this?
Would using grease and oils at work affect this balding?
I have been reading about an auto immune alopecia. Would this be a result of poor nutrient absorption?

instead the shampoos made my hair loss worse and gave me dandruff. I started experiencing severe burning sensation on my scalp. It felt like someone is pouring acid on it. It even felt painful to move my hair in any direction. It was so excruciating I ended up in the urgent care twice. They ran a bunch of thyroid and hormonal tests which came back fine.
s of small molluscum in my beard area as well as in my eyelids. I am under depression about HIV. I talk to my dermatologist about this. He is using TCA 25% to burn molluscum and prescribed some of medicine to increase my immune system from mid april,2011. I just come to show my HIV result to my dermatologist. He told me that you are 100% HIV free,But again another side he told me that if you continue your HIV test till Nov. that will be 200 % what that mean. Every time he make me more restless.
