The thinning progressed rather quickly ive had to xut my hair shorter to make it blend. Prior to the thinning my hair would shed these grey flakes like dandruff especially if I was sweating or just finished playing sports. There really isnt a lot if baldness in my family my dad who is 60 has def thinned out and his dad was bald when he was old as well. Im 26 now and think im a little too yoing to be losing my hair. Btw I am African American male.

m going off of what I vaguely remember lol. There are 3 causes for dandruff dry scalp, oily scalp, and a fungus. The condition of your scalp is what is going to tell u which treatment to use. One remedy is ad easy as shampooing everyday and using less conditioner on your scalp. You should also try using a clarifying shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner.

From past few months my hair is very itchy and I consulted a doctor and he prescribed Xgain shampoo and citregen tablets. Will this help? can i use Xgain shampoo regularly? I am really confused on what to be done, I love may hair a lot. My iron levels is not checked by doctor. None of my family members have complete balding, I am loosing hair on the sides above the ears(temple).
There may be other causes of hair fall such as, age, thyroid problems, diabetes or lupus. Other causes are a low protein diet, a family history or poor nutrition. Drugs such for chemotherapy may also cause this.

Yup for 1st time in my life n secound baby n I got bad dandruff it sux. .n to top it off I cant use anyy kind of dandruff stuff cause it irritates my skin so I dont bother.but im not sure where u are but im in nz n the doc can subscribe this reall good stuuf that ya can also use on ur skin I cant member watvit called but it pink n smells YUCK hence y I still havnt botherd with it haha..

There is no medical condition as such which causes oiliness of the hair. I would suggest you to clean your hair frequently with a mild shampoo(you can use the ones for oily hair) and don’t apply any conditioner on the hair.Also you can shampoo twice during each wash and apply shampoo on the scalp without piling the hair on top.
It makes sense to avoid the use of conditioner as it also tends to make the scalp oily.
