Use baby shampoo lather the baby hair real good comb thru it with a fine tooth comb and repeat it a few more times I've learned that if you let it dry and then wash the shampoo out and do it again it works well but don't scratch it cause you can cause bleeding or hair lost.
You can treat flaking and dryness with over-the-counter dandruff or medicated shampoos. Shampoo the hair vigorously and frequently (preferably daily). Active ingredients in these shampoos include salicylic acid, coal tar, zinc, resorcin, ketoconazole, or selenium. If the symptoms persist, then it would be best to get it confirmed from a dermatologist.Fungal infections, eczema and atopic dermatitis have to be ruled out in that case. Hope it helps.
Hi, I had this condition years ago and it drove me nuts.. Hated scratching my head in public cause I thought people would think I had lice or worse.. One thing that caught my attention in your message is the circles.. That is the symptom of ringworm.. we all carry the ability to get this and it sort of recycles if it's not taken care of.. I went to my regular md and she gave me a script for a cream.. within two or three days it dried up and fell off in pieces..
For the last 3 months she has had a really crusty bleeding back of neck she scratches so badly. AND she also has red spots on her skin. They will go away and then return. The spots show up everywhere. They resemble chicken pox. She must have like 50 scars on her now. I have taken her to the childrens dermatologist specialist and he couldnt explain what it is. So any body with any ideas i cna take to him will help.

so I'm thinking it's my toilet paper that is the problem. (???) I initially had two small lacerations and now have about 10-12 that are slightly bleeding, all on my perineum. This started about 2 weeks ago when we switched toilet paper brands. Went from a softer brand to a tougher brand that's supposed to be more septic safe. As of today I am back on the soft stuff. Just curious if anyone else has linked this to toilet tissue brand?
The skin shedding and 'dandruff' decrease. Then 2 days later the itching starts creeping back and the horror - The Horror! - of a new cycle of severe rash, pain, inflamed neck, swollen face, irritability and insomnia. New red spots spread to places of my body where I didn't have them the last time (and never during Tx). By day 5 without Lidex, the situation gets so bad that I can't sleep at all and I feel like I have 1000 needles in the back of my neck.
she was fine for the first week and then she started to not eat. she was also very skinny and had dandruff when we got her. she seems very weak! then her nose started running and she was coughing. we took her to a vet and he said she had pnamonia. he didn't say anything about why she wasn't eating. she still isn't eating and she won't play with the other dogs. when we got her she was dehidrated but I think we took care of that. Please tell me if there is anything I can do to help her!!!!!!

This pain would intensify which would cause me to wince in pain and then release and then repeat all over again every 5-10 seconds for about a minute. This pain did not radiate anywhere but only within a specific point. Then this same stabbing sensation occurred half way up to the first knuckle of my right middle finger about 30 minutes later. Then immediately following this finger pain I felt pain in my right foot at the joint of my middle toe.

There is no dandruff; the head skin looks clean. Sometimes it is so itchy that I scratch until bleeding, or I ask my husband to use his fingertips, applying a strong force to numb the area in order to stop itching. What is the possible problem? Thank you.
