Avatar m tn I was going to mention B-12 Defeciency but it looks like you have this covered. I never tested for this but I suspect I have the same. It's one of the vitamins I add to my daily intake of vitamins.
417564 tn?1287982827 I stopped getting proper nutrition but kept up with the massive amounts of vitamins. I used supplements...but it would really take alot. I simply did not feel like eating, so I listened to my body and I did not eat...I drank water, I did everything else right. As our counselor said...I am no doctor. Vitamins are very hard on your stomach...especially coming off methadone because you lack proper gut function. Nutrition is of equal importance.
975263 tn?1283467568 He is very energetic and does not look sick. I usually give him Pediasure twice daily that the doctor recommended but i am afraid it should not be what he depends on for all his minerals and vitamins. What should I do?
Avatar m tn You can take this, however, recommend you choose a multi-vitamin that has the vitamins and minerals closer to the recommended daily levels. For your age any multi-vitamin with iron is fine. We should be getting all our vitamins and minerals from our food sources.
1126695 tn?1261597496 For the vitamins supplement i recommend a multi-vitamins/minerals like Centrum + a good vitamin C ( 1,000mg with calcium ) + a vitamin B complex. Consider Green+ or SuperFoodRX as a daily intake too which is rich in nutriments. Please consider that I'm not a doctor nor a nutritionist therefore i recommend you ask a doctor what would be a good intake for your age/weight.
Avatar n tn Just my recommendation from studying nutrition, you probably need to find a nutritionist close to you and find out if your body is really getting everything it needs. A general physical probably won't be able to really help you with that. Having meat in your body is healthy for you, but I would make sure to buy meat with no hormones or steriods. I personally wouldn't avoid it all-together though.

Avatar f tn You can eat lunch meat as long as it's cooked. You can eat some types of fish in moderation. Stay away from high mercury, sword fish, shark, and bottom dewellers. Listen to your cravings. They will tell you what vitamins you're lacking.
Avatar f tn I was wondering if i should go see a nutritionist to make sure me and the baby are getting adequate nutrition. I have always been a small 110lb and no matter what i eat i never gain any weight. Has anyone gone to see one and was it worth it? Did it make a difference?

Heart Healthy diet which is a moderate fat diet and a moderate fat diet means = using polyunsaturated (omega 3, corn oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats (high fat snack foods, butter, fat spreads) and no trans fats.

I would like to give her all the vitamins in breastmilk that she can't get from formula and the probiotics which I have learnt from my own health are very very important.
