Common Questions and Answers about Daily vitamins ingredients

Dont buy into the misleading hype these marketers put out about these vitamins. You can buy the same vitamins under a different name, cheaper, from any nutrition or vitamin store. A Centrum or GNC daily vitamin will give you the same benefits. Dont buy into marketing schemes. My suggestion is if you are looking to take vitamin supplements, go to a non-biased nutritionist at a non franchised vitamin store and he/she should put you in the right direction.

In general, we recommend a daily vitamin, which should contain all the recommended daily requirements of most vitamins and minerals. Since megadosing or using herbal supplements has not been well researched, we tend not to encourage these products because we just don't know if it will help or if it could produce some undesireable effect. You should discuss this specifically with your doctor - as he/she may have an opinion on this.
I was prescibed a prenatal vitamin and I was wondering what vitamins are in them. The bottle reads PNV-DHA CAP ACE. The pills are large, blue, oval shaped and have a BP 321 on them. This is my first pregnancy and I'm making sure I'm getting the right vitamins.
So we are going in on Monday for our next one, I will be 6weeks 3days so we should see something. Anyway my question is what Prenatal Vitamins are everyone taking? We were on vacation when we found out we were pregnant and I didn't have any vitamins with me so we got OneADay Women's Prenatal over the counter. I have been taking them for the past two weeks and got a prescription for Primacare One from a local Dr. I don't know how good of vitiamins they are.
I am taking the garden of life raw prenatal, it has so many wonderful things in it, including the daily that we require. It has food based ingredients from veggies amd fruits and well as some ginger to help ease morning sickness. I love mine, plus I know what's in the product. I don't really trust main stream vitamins like centrum or one a day. They use to many chemically altered ingredients. I hope you feel better and find that works for you!
Also, should I take extra vitamins each day? I spend abt $50 on vitamins a month but I am wondering if I am wasting my money. Anyone know?
This is unusual. Vitamins A, B, C and zinc are usually helpful for skin. When taken at the recommended daily dose, I am not aware of any vitamins which would induce acne. Could you be reacting to one of the inactive ingredients, such as a colour or preservative in the tablet? Have you tried different brands? What vitamins are you deficient in? Could you take these specific vitamins seperately rather than a multivitamin? Try each one to see which one is causing the outbreak?
A friend is trying to sell me a nutrition supplement called Reliv. She says drinking supplements help you retain more vitamins than pills and that Reliv products give you everything you would ever need - vitamin and mineral wise. I need to find out if this is actually a good product to use or not. And a recommendation for a good supplement if this is not. Thanks.
Don't be freaked out if a multi-vitamin has several thousand percent of the recommended daily allowance. Optimally designed multi vitamins stay far away from toxicity levels despite being much better absorbed. A time release multi is a good idea as well to help ensure proper absorption.
Which brand of vitamins do you buy and are your vitamins made in China ?? SHIJIAZHUANG, China -- If you pop a vitamin C tablet into your mouth, it's a good bet it came from China. Indeed, many of the world's vitamins are now made in China. "In less than a decade, China has captured 90 percent of the U.S. market for vitamin C, driving almost everyone else out of business." link to article: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2003732744_vitamins03.
The multi-vitamin, you stated you took, has more in it then vitamins and minerals. You may have had a reaction to the 'other' ingredients in the pill. If you continue to have these issues, recommend you see a Doctor.
Vitamins: It's Dose That Does It Reprinted with permission from the International Schizophrenia Foundation, www.orthomed.org EDITOR’S NOTE: The following article focuses on the therapeutic effect of very high dose vitamins. Lower doses commonly found in dietary supplements are effective in meeting nutritional needs, but no therapeutic claims are made. (OMNS, February 2, 2009) There is a spin to most media reporting on vitamin research.
I am now 11 weeks pregnant and I have been taking prenatal vitamins since I found out I was pregnant with my third baby in January. Sadly I lost him in april but continued to take them until this pregnancy. With my first pregnancy this year I was sick from about 7 weeks will 11 weeks when my son passed and I miscarried him naturally at 14 weeks. I was so sick with him vomitting 3 times a day religiously and continuously nautious.
If you rarely eat full rounded meals, or are not taking supplementation to replace what you may be losing in your daily life, then maybe it is time to start considering what foods and nutrients need to be added to your Daily Bread. I can pray for my Daily bread to be provided, but the original breads made years ago by early settlers and the kinds made in other countries where things are not so processed, are much more healthy that what we buy today.
I have been taking Zovira 400mg daily (1 per day as suppresive measure) for at least 10 years. I have had very few breakouts with it and none in the last couple of years. I am looking to stop taking this since I have read much info about its long term possible side effects...... that it could effect liver levels, kidney, and possible hair loss (which I have).
a centrum multivitamin, green tea extract, vitamin c, fish oil, chromium picconolate -all on a daily basis - what else should I be taking - I also drink large quanties of water during the day. what should I change /add as far as supplements go & vitamins are concerned.
I am a healthy woman who baths daily, I say this to offset the idea that maybe I am ill or unclean. Please tell me what this is, how I can get rid of it and how I might be able to prevent it from coming back.
It has occurred to me that is why I cant take daily vitamins as most of them make me feel that way..I forgot about that vitamin problem I have :)Ironically my pre-natal vitamins never made me feel that way...only a little nauseous, so i took them at night. I am not taking them now as the fertilaid is supposed to have all the ingredients in them.
And yes it not necessary that you have to drink this tea daily. 3, 4 cups a week are enough! The ingredients of this tea are oolong tea, lotus leaf, hawthorn, alisma rhizome, cassia seeds, southern ginseng and poria. These ingredients have anti-oxidants and other vitamins that facilitated smooth digestion and draining out toxin from body. Since this tea is completely natural, made of herbs, it does not have any side effects.
You need vitamins, and you even need some fat! If you’re not getting the right amounts of these things, you may lose weight, but your health may also suffer. By drinking Wu Yi Oolong Teas, your diet isn't as big of a factor! You’re eating less due to the appetite suppression, your metabolism is burning more calories than ever before, less fat is being absorbed into the system, and you have more energy to get exercise! Diets? Who needs diets?
From your measurements, his weight is just above the 25th percentile which indicates he is normal for his age. He is going into puberty and will be on a growth spree until his early twenties. Suggest giving him regular milkshakes (milk, fruit, and ice cream blended) or yogurt smoothies (yogurt, fruit, and ice cream) instead of the protein shakes if you so desire. Regular milkshakes or yogurt smoothies have protein, carbs, vitamins and minerals.
My main question is, I noticed that my Isopure and Opti-Men have a lot of the same vitamins. Is it safe to take these together? Or should I not take the multivitamins on the days I work out? Also, do the ingredients in the two Anadraulic products look safe to comsume? Thanks, Dan This is the nutrional label for the isopure... http://www.a1nutrition.com/graphics/NaturesBest/zero_carb_isopure_75_facts.gif This is for the Opti-Men... http://www.supplementkingdom.
You need to take 2T daily for 2 weeks and gradually increase to 4T daily. Good source of fast energy too. Coconut milk is not really milk and you can make your own (watch for BPA in canned foods and drinks) from shredded organic coconut and filtered water, well blended to the consistency you like. Light teas, black, green or herbal are legal and so is ESSIAC tea, a great immune tonic. Try for pastured meat and organic vegetables, low sugar fruits and some nuts- organic if possible.
Whatever is in the shake mixture, it seems to be causing you digestive stress (diarrhea). Having diarrhea daily will cause loss of vitamins, minerals and nutrients including fluid loss which is not good for your body or health. Suggest you avoid consuming the shakes and getting checked by your MD to ensure you are not deficient of vitamins/minerals. Some people may become allergic to certain foods later in life so you may want to be tested. Thank you for your question.

If you are still not sure read the labels on the bottle; they have to list all ingredients. It is important you take vitamins as a vegetarian because if you are not eating the proper protein combinations, fruit, and vegetables on a daily basis then you are not getting what you need. As a vegan you need Vitamin B12 supplementation because you cannot get that from plant foods.
only vitamin d needs testing and dose between 5000-10.
Proper daily penis care also needs to include the use of a high end penis vitamin cream (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil). The proper cream will have a healthy mix of ingredients, including a range of vitamins like A, B5 and D.
