One more thing. I have reduced my intake considerable over the past 12 months. My goal is to be completely off the patches and everything...IF the pain will let up, which I pray to God it will. Average serum vitamin D levels were significantly lower in hepatitis C patients compared with control subjects (25.07 vs. 43.06 mcg/L). Women on average had lower vitamin D levels than men, and people with hepatic necroinflammation had lower levels than those with healthy livers. Levels of CYP27A1 (but not CYP2R1) were directly correlated with vitamin D levels. After adjusting for other factors, low vitamin D was an independent predictor of severe liver fibrosis or cirrhosis (stage F3-F4).
My PTH has always been in the normal range (ranging from 2.4 pmol/l to 5.9 pmol/l generally at the higher end, the normal for my lab is 1.0-6.4 pmol/l) I have had a sestamibi scan that didn't reveal anything. My urine calcium has also been elevated on at least one occasion (8.1 mmol/day, normal is up to 7.5 mmol/D). I just got results for a bone scan and have been told that I have osteopenia. I also have low vitamin D (not sure if it is 25 OH or 1,25).
My last pupillary distance that the Optometrist measured himself was L 28.5 and R 29. I have liked the softer vision with both eyes( vs closing the L and seeing through the R 20/20) - but then I understand that my normal left lens can adjust to near and far and the mono IOL will not. My astig. was in the lens and is gone & I do not want a toric - just the same sn60wf - it is the strength I am concerned about.
My reg. opth. (does not work with this lens) is concerned that I will lose my closer mid-range but he is not familiar with my lens.
