cymbalta tired

Then I was taking a small dose of the old one every other day, then every few days then off. I went from cymbalta to zoloft. Cymbalta is not an anti depreesant you want to miss doses of. I would get stomach cramps, shakiness and head zaps. I only quit taking it because its too expensive for me and my doc can give me samples of the zoloft. You should be ok. The cymbalta is way different than lyrica and I think you will like it.

30mg is the starting dose then after a couple of weeks they move on to 60mg. As for you input of being tired on Cymbalta well it's because you might be more sensitive to serotonin which will makes you feel tired instead of norepinephrine which will make you feel energized. Yeah one size doesn't fit all as you can see it's really complicated.

I took blood for tests and put me on cymbalta for the time being. I am now tappering off my Effexor and up to 60 mg of the cymbalta. I haven't gotten the test results back yet. anyway, my question is--Has anyone had luck with cymbalta? And does cymbalta work for fibro and cfs? Why isn't he referring me to a neuro or a pain mgmt doc?

Hi, My doctor wants to put me on cymbalta for nerve pain that I have been having from an injury I have from 2005. It's nerve pain from a fall I took. He says it will help to calm down the nerves and signals from my brain to help with the pain. The prescription is for 30mg, 1 tab a day then increase to 2 tabs and recheck with him in a month. I'm alittle scared to take this, as I have never had to go on this kind of medicene and I'm afraid what the side effects might do.

I started with 187,5mg Effexor and my strong depression went away in 3 months. Because of a dizzy brain, difficulty in concentration I reduced to 75mg. But still I feel sick and tired in the afternoon - strange but it becomes better after meal. But I have to take a antidepressiva for a long time, to reduce the risk of a fallback. So I search for a better drug with less sideeffects. I tried zoloft and citalopram but the sideeffects were worse.

So I slowly weaned off the lexapro and switched to cymbalta. For a week i took 5 mg of lexapro and a 30mg cymbalta. Now I am at a therapeutic dosage of 60mg cymbalta. And I also take clonozapem up to 3 times a day if I have panic attacks. Lexapro gave me gastroinstestinal side effects. While as Cymbalta now seems to give me sleep troubles/insomnia. However, sometimes the medication outweighs the side effects.

Just hot my thyroid levels at a good level. I switched from pristiq to cymbalta back in November. I am tired ALL the time. More than when my thyroid was out of whack. Could the cymbalta be causing this and if so, what if I took it at night?

I 23 and have been suffering from pain for a very long time, and all other symptoms associated with fibromyalgia.recently a doctor decided it was fibromyalgia. I have started on Cymbalta 4 weeks ago, 60mg and have found no pain releif, but have found that im getting some energy back. Is it known to be benificial to be on cymbalta and lyrica at the same time? any recomendations i would greatly appriciate!!!!!!

Just got from the endo. Good news is all my scans came back clean, so it looks like I'm cancer-free. I would be doing the happy dance, but I'm too dam tired to really care. Sad isn't it! Doc ask me how I was feeling and I told her about the extreme fatigue I've felt for a long time. I asked if there could be other causes besides thyroid history and the menopause. Her theory is I'm depressed and Effexor (taking for hot flashes) isn't working.

This week I will be starting a double-blind study to see if 30 mg is effective for FMS pain. I won't know for some time if I'm using the placebo or the actual Cymbalta. I am sensitive to medications and I am a skeptic, since I've done badly on everything I've tried before. I do more natural therapy than I do pharmaceutical. I guess I will also find out if this stuff will help with the number of and intensity of the chronic migraines, too.

Talking to the doctor next week to try something else. I also tried cymbalta and cymbalta with the lyrica and they did not help the pain. The cymbalta was making me moody and irritable and i just wanted to be left alone.

Im on 30 mg. of cymbalta since may 8,Klonopin since april 23 and xanax since feb..tapering off xanax.......since adding cymbalta to this mixture my blood pressure has dropped as my heart rate has too........is this normal for this mixture? I dont like the cymbalta so far and i thought the klonopin was suppose to help with my tapering off xanax,i was suppose to stop xanax 2 days ago and so far i havent because im scared of withdrawals......

I have been on Cymbalta for 3 weeks now and my sleeping pattern is getting worse and worse. I dont even remember the last time i slept through the night. I am taking Cymbalta 60mg in the am. I am going to try it in the pm and see if anything changes. Anyone elso out there have this problem???

I feel like I'm tired all the time (in my normal life) and when I was prescribed hydrocodone for a few months for an injury I felt all around much better. I got more done, had more energy..etc etc.. Why does that happen with this medication? Now that I'm going to be stopping them I wanted to find something that would help give me more pep. I already drink coffee.

I am 26 years old and I have had Fibromyaliga since I was 17.... I went to the dr yesterday and he gave me a new medication to be taking with my Cymbalta. He gave me Zaneflex. Has anyone ever taken this ? And has it helped ? I did notice that about 30 mins after I took it, it literally knocked me on my butt..... I was so tired and dizzy... Went to bed....Has anyone taken or been taken this drug ? Does it help ? I am also taking 60MG of Cymbalta a day...... Any input would be nice.

My Dr. wants me to go on Cymbalta, to re up my good endorphins, he says they are burnt out from a couple years of eating oxys.

I have been put on Cymbalta medication 60 mg at night to replace the 50mg of amitriptyline I was taking. I have taken it for nearly 2 weeks and there seems to be pros and cons. I also take 400mg of Lyrica a day. The amitriptyline was giving me a good nights sleep, but was not overly helping the neuropathic pain once awake, it also left a really bad taste in my mouth and I found myself eating constantly, and piling on wieght.

I have been taking cymbalta(60mg) and wellbutrin (200mg) daily for 3 years. I decided I was tired of taking it, it didn't seem to be helping me anymore, and I was tired of the expense. I quit wellbutrin cold turkey about a 5 days ago and I quit cymbalta cold turkey 3 days ago. I now feel like I am losing my mind. I have been feeling and acting somewhat manic. I have felt kind of 'hi' and actually like it.

My primary started me out on Celex 20mg for depression and anxiety. It worked a little with the depression, but didn't do much for the axiety and I was still tired throughout the day. He then added Wellburtrin to the mix and that didn't do anything. He then switched me to Lexapro 20MG about a month ago. This worked great... the only thing was it made me very lazy and tired.

I am now on day 10 of taking cymbalta. I feel so tired. I lay around barely able to get dressed. What the heck. Can this be because of my liver? I was wondering if this goes away. I have to switch my meds. I have depression and fibromyalgia and am on Cymbalta, but it doesn't seem to be helping me.....my doctor suggested Prozac since it is known to help fatigue better than the other antidepressants (supposedly). Thank you.

Don't take abilify with Cymbalta! I take Cymbalta and then I was also put on abilify shortly before my family and I went on vacation to Disneyworld and it was the worst time I ever had! I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin! I was so agitated and could not sleep. I would pace at night! I did get off abilify when I got back and am just on Cymbalta now and am better but I am experiencing things like headaches and heart palpitations so may be getting off Cymbalta, too.
