I just wanted to say also that I am on a low dose Cymbalta and that works for me. I know it's not for everybody but no side effects like the Savella. I wish the best for you.

I read about adding wellbutrin to the SSRI to help counteract the sexual side effects and the fatigue since wellbutrin is given for ADD sometimes because it's a mild stimulant, but before I could suggest anything my doctor decided to send in a prescription for Cymbalta, which is an SSNRI.

Attention anyone taking Cymbalta...PLEASE read about the side effects and the horrible withdrawl symptoms. It turned me into a zoombie then it took over a year to withdraw from. It is worse than anything I have ever experienced in my whole life. I am not going to be a guinea pig for any more of these new drugs, I'll just stick with vicodin.

After seeing my doctor lately, she has decided to take me off my Cymbalta. I've been on it for 3 years with no change in my depression. What I'm wondering about are the withdrawals that I think I've been experiencing. The doctor also has put me on Paxil while weaning me off the Cymbalta. The symptoms I've had are mostly being very shaky; so much so that it's hard to hold a spoon because I'm shaking that badly. Is this normal and will it go away?

I was removed off of saphris last october, and was put on wellbutrin 150mg and had a TERRIBLE reaction to it. now think I am experiencing side effects that (in my opinion) appear to look like adrenal problems (fatigue, unneccesary anxiety, muscle spasms/twitching, problems walkng, craving sugars etc.

She went to a doctor yesterday about her hair and the doctor told her that it was because of this medication (Lydrica) But I have seen all side effects and none talk about hair lost. And my mother does not want to leave this medication because its the only one that works for her burning feet. Has anybody else expirence hair loss with Lydrica?She also takes Cymbalta 60mg,lyrica 75mg, Nexuim 40mg, and Tramabol 50mg. What do you all suggest she get tested for ?

My doctor just put me on Abilify, which I'm not very happy about considering the side effects. However, I have treatment-resistant depression so I'm running out of options. I will be taking a very low dose, though: 2.5 mg. Does anyone know if you're less likely to get side effects if you're on a low dose? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I feel for you and your children. Irritability and anger are known side effects of treatment. The drugs can cause chemical imbalances in the brain and the frequent fatigue can also be extremely trying. The good news is that your husband will return to his old self once tx has finished although this may take from a few weeks to months to happen. Might be worth considering councelling just to make him aware of the effect his tx is having on you.

Based on the information about Prilosec here, it sounds like anger and abdominal pain are known side effects. The other symptoms might be caused by something else, but the information is not a complete list of side effects, so maybe Prilosec is the culprit. i am on cymbalta...no side effects until my doctor upped my dose, but just extreme tiredness, so i lowered my dose back to 60 mgs....usually the brain zaps are when you suddenly stop taking it, any antidepressant can cause this when abruptly stopped....but everyone is different. are you experiencing any side effects from it now?

ve learned over the years that side effects are different for everyone and not to judge a medication based on that. Possible side effects doesn't mean one will get all of them (which is what I tended to focus on). While being on Cymbalta, the one side effect I've noticed is insomnia. For the first little while I had nausea but that's gone away. Other than that, my appetite has increased and I'm eating a bit more.

Tuesday my psychiatrist stopped my Zoloft and started me on Fluvox (I have GAD, OCD, and mild/moderate depression). Well I've had some side effects that I can live with, but the past 24 hours I've been getting much angrier than usual. I always like to learn as much as possible about my medications as well. They say not to because you may worry about side effects that may occur but I do it anyway and give the meds a chance before I worry about that. Unfortunately I have no knowledge about the medicine you are talking about but there are a lot of forums on Medhelp to include anxiety as well some that may pertain to the reason you have to take the norvasc.

I had similar problem & my support group put the blame on the Cymbalta. Some people say Wellbutrin has less sexual side effects.
