cymbalta

Avatar f tn Help I was diagnosed 6 years ago and now take Lyrica, Cymbalta and Celebrex for RSD. I have gained 43 punds along with tiredness, fuzzy thinking at times. My pain is in control but the weight gain is aggravating my knee pain and scoliosis of the spine. It is hard to have the stamina I need to work with children in my center sometimes. Is there something else I can take. I really want to know what exercises work since eating doesn't move the scale.
599378 tn?1240665606 Hi...I took cymbalta until I found out that I was pregnant with my 3 yr old (like a year or two) and I didn't think that it really helped me personally. It does take 3 to 4 weeks to know if a med is helping, however if you think that you are vomiting because of the med then I would ask for a different med! I know that towards the end I was only taking it because of the withdrawl I would experience if I did not take it. When I finally had to stop completly the withdrawl was AWFUL!
233622 tn?1279334905 Hello LA, Thanks so much for the response to my rant yesterday. I feel better today. Still have the double vision but like always my friends here cheer me up. To answer your question. I was on Cymbalta for about 6 weeks. I asked to be taken off of it. It was making me feel strange. Very "short Fused", irritated, grouchy. I started taking Effexor when this started and I went back to it just a higher dose now. I have seen where people here have got on it and it has helped very well.
Avatar f tn I'm new to this app and I just realized there were message boards.. I'm wondering if the boards are designed to go By your weeks or age? Sorry If I sound like an idiot but I was just checking..
1125419 tn?1259705049 I am currently switching from Cymbalta to Prozac. Was talking 60mg Cymbalta, doctor said to take 30mg for a week, start Prozac 20mg. I am experiencing severe leg cramps. Is that a side effect of coming off the Cymbalta?
Avatar f tn t see Lyme as a truly serious illness may try to cause trouble for MDs who *do* take Lyme very seriously, and the result could be problems for the Lyme docs with the state medical boards. (The medical boards tend to hold to the old belief that Lyme is no big deal.) Over time, the medical profession will work itself out, but for now, please do NOT post names of any MDs here, in order to protect them.
Avatar n tn Check out the message boards on these 2 websites for CPAP related questions. The boards here are very active. I think I've read this problem on those boards before. www.cpaptalk.com www.apneasupport.
Avatar f tn I HAVE LIDODERM TOO, BUT THEY IRRITATE MY SKIN, SO I CAN'T USE THEM.
Avatar m tn Oh, and here is a message board for ALS. Maybe it will help you to hear other stories and see if they match yours. http://www.************.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?
1128643 tn?1262483649 What your doctor will probably do is cut down the Celexa completely and give you 60mg Cymbalta after your first week on Cymbalta. 60mg will be your regular dose, 30mg is the starting dose.
Avatar f tn I guess all people care about on these message boards are their STDs.
638895 tn?1223066826 wondering about Cymbalta. I tried Lyrica and there is no way I can take it so I am a bit apprehensive about the Cymbalta. Thanks everyone.
573676 tn?1217527171 I'm wondering if anyone knows a good place--a free place--to chat about womens health topics. I'm not talking about message boards. I have a few questions that I just cannot get answered and was hoping if maybe there was somewhere that I could actually talk to someone and see if they can help me. Thanks for your help I'm really confused right now.
183933 tn?1290216962 Just keep googling and searching but stick to the more commendable sites and steer clear from answers on message boards because those are opinions and not scientific research.

Avatar f tn Are you familiar with the 'private message' function on this website? I can send you a recommendation there, since we keep our doc's names out of the public area of this site, to protect our Lyme docs -- in some jurisdictions, the Lyme docs need to keep very very quiet to avoid the state and local medical boards from trying to shut the docs down.
Avatar m tn can I? post a new message to the other Heart Rhythm medical questions board. Do I need to create a whole new profile? Use another email and password? Seems that way but hoping I am wrong and someone can give me a clue here:-) Thanks!
1243620 tn?1274790697 I started Cymbalta yesterday. Within 5 hours my pupils were massive, nearly all of my iris is black. I was up all night with the sweats and a really dry throat keep swalling all the time (I heard all that is normal.) But the eye thing...How long will my pupils be this big?! They've been huge for over 42 hours now. I can't go to work next week looking like this!!
483733 tn?1326798446 Hey Trudie, She answered a message a few weeks ago from me telling me she feels a lot better and she's getting out and about. She said with her kids being back in school she's not getting too much time on the computer. I sent her another message last week and no answer yet, so I guess the homework brigade has taken over for now.
Avatar f tn But when you clutter your message up with personal feelings and negative emotions, it taints that message and the end result is you will not be heard. First, because an angry message, especially directed at another user, will ensure that that user will NOT listen to what you have to say. It only ensures that you will put them on the defensive which means they have closed their mind to the possibility of your viewpoint. Second, because the post will get deleted and not seen by ANYBODY.
974371 tn?1424653129 I really don't fully understand how these boards work but posts from 2-3 years ago still show up. I have noticed lately, many are adding to or responding to a lot of these. Granted, some would be good to read for someone possibly addressing issues that have been discussed before. However, some things may go unanswered due to the old dates. To get the best responses, I suggest you start a new and current post on the topics you wish to discuss.
405614 tn?1329144114 I had a message from my MS neuro this morning when I got out of the shower; he was calling to see if I was interested in participating in a study of a new medication for treating pain in people with MS. He said I would be a good candidate for the study, and that he needed to know either today or tomorrow. I called back, but he was with a patient, as was the person that he said I could talk to if he was not available. The receptionist said she would leave a note on the desk of Dr. C.
