I was just prescribed cymbalta to try for a week for anxiety but i also smoke pot, can this mix affect my health more than what pot normally does?

Indeed, Tramadol have SNRI proprieties just like Cymbalta but to a lesser extant. If the doctor prescribed those to you it's ok since serotonin syndrome is very unlike. Serotonin syndrome is a rare medical condition that rarely cause trouble. If you experience fever and agitation I would report ASAP at the ER.
Hello. I'm 23 and I have PTSD. I use to take cymbalta which worked well for me but my insurance no longer covers it, which means it's over $1,000. Obviously being a full time student I cannot afford this. Does anyone know of anything natural I can take daily that will help? I have nightmares every night and keep my poor boyfriend up. And I'm getting worried that I may be developing sleep walking behavior. I don't want to feel out of it, and like I said I'm low on funds.

My non medical opinion is that you should make sure that your gastro doctor, Hcv treatment provider, pain doctor and pharmacist are communicating with each other so the best recommendation and monitoring can be made.
My psychiatrist prescribed 90 mg. Cymbalta, 300 mg. of Wellbutrin and then, 50 mg. Trazadone before bed. After reading quite a bit, I am concerned it it is safe to take the Trazadone with these other drugs. This is not a new psychiatrist. I have seen her for the past three years and I suffer from severe depression, PTSD, anxiety disorder and possible agorophobia. I just want to make certain I am safe!
so dr put me on cymbalta and i take adhd med....cymbalta did nothing after raising dose...and nothing...so since cymbalta they said also was for my anxiety they switched me to prozac (fluoxene) (400mg a day...that's max per day)....so thats prozac, tramadol and adhd stimulant...which brings me to my point.....i very quickly each hour of each day became extremely ill...extreme fatigue, vomiting, shortness of breath, dizzy, shakey, blurred vision....the list goes on...
100mg daily of Ultram down to 50mg daily in one week; and from 90mg daily Cymbalta to 30 mg. a day in one week? I feel like I could bite nails in half. My head is in a vice and has these startling wooshing-type things. My legs are getting restless. I'm tired but I can't sleep very well.

Help I was diagnosed 6 years ago and now take Lyrica, Cymbalta and Celebrex for RSD. I have gained 43 punds along with tiredness, fuzzy thinking at times. My pain is in control but the weight gain is aggravating my knee pain and scoliosis of the spine. It is hard to have the stamina I need to work with children in my center sometimes. Is there something else I can take. I really want to know what exercises work since eating doesn't move the scale.
The appropriate response would have been, when you got the warning from the pharmacist, to wait and call the PM doctors office in the morning and make sure he realized you were on Cymbalta when he prescribed Savella, and give him a chance to double check the interactions and discuss it with you. That's part of being your own advocate- not just blindly following your doctors.
She is currently taking Cymbalta, Lamotrigine, Seroquel and Ziprasidone. She has been depressed for a few years but it suddenly got worse since she started to take ziprasidone. She has been taking it for about 2 weeks now. She informed us that she is hearing voices telling her to harm herself. She has experimented in cutting in the past, but yesterday she did it to the extreme resulting in numerous cuts to her arm. Is taking these four medications together a detriment to her mind set?
He has me on 4 different meds 2) anti depressants- cymbalta 20 mg and celexa 40 mg 1) mood stablizer- Geodon 100mg and 1) anti anxiety Klohipin 2mg 3 x day. The 4 meds he perscribes me interact with everything so I looked at the same kinds of meds just slight difference in them and the ones I chose didnt interact with anything severly.
