cymbalta

Avatar f tn Morning are hell for me.
Avatar f tn The ringing is so bad in the night and in the morning think it makes the pain worse. Also on 2 1/2 mg Ativan but have been trying to come off it as the anxiety is much less. I did quit smoking and have started again but not very much. None of the Dr's can explain.
Avatar n tn My daughter has been on it for two weeks and also had insomnia so she switched to taking it in the morning, instead of at night. Also she feels less hungry.
Avatar f tn I was recently prescribed Cymbalta. I'm not sure whether to take it in the morning or evening. I'd appreciate your input if you have had experience taking Cymbalta. Thanks!
Avatar m tn I take 60mg of Cymbalta once a day.( antidepresant & nerve pain) . I haven't tried to take anymore than what dr. told me to, gesh, I could try it once I guess when the craves hit me. I am also on Lyrica 50mg 3 times a day for muscle/ nerve pain. I sometimes take Remeron at bedtime if I need it to sleep. I do wish they helped me more for the pain-pain, ha. Other than otc pain meds, Excedrin, or aleve.
Avatar m tn I have. he still gave me the cymbalta. Took my 1st one yesterday and couldn't sleep at all. had to take a sleeping pill in the middle of the night and feel awful. this always happens when i try medication. will it subside or should i stop before getting in too deep?
306455 tn?1288862071 Im sorry honey...you will get through it....that really *****. What's the reason you want off the Cymbalta? I mean, your not abusing right? So why come off? Its expensive? Well, then I can relate there.. Anyway, I'm pulling for ya...
772020 tn?1434994216 I also take 1mg of Clanozapam in the morning. As of today, I did not take the Cymbalta and am going to go back to the Lexapro tomorrow. Any thought?
Avatar m tn I had to take a sleeping pill in the middle of the night and feel awful today, had to call in at work. This always happens when I try medication and is the main reason I end up stopping after a month or so. Will it subside or should I stop before getting in too deep? I am afraid to have another nightmare month of insomnia and sleeping pills like the zoloft trail.
Avatar m tn I have never been diagnosed with anxiety, although I know I have always had it, but felt I could keep it under control. Now that I have been in a lot of pain, it has increased. The Cymbalta seems to help that. As far as side effects, I haven't noticed many. I was told to take it at night, because some people get tired from it. It worked opposite for me and I was up all night.
1348086 tn?1370783185 Since the psych has switched me from cymbalta to nortripyline, I am having the withdrawals from cymbalta and my gradual tapering off. I am taking a clorazepate (Tranxene) in the morning to reduce the side effects. So far I haven't had to do it on the weekends, just during the work week. This morning is my first morning to be completely off of cymbalta. I attempted to not take a clorazepate this morning but ended up having to at lunch. At 7.
Avatar f tn I hope you take Cymbalta in the morning since it was not clear in your post. Chances are less likely for serotonin syndrome if you take your Cymbalta in the morning and tramadol at night. But I still find the 100mg tramadol dose considerably high.
Avatar f tn It is amazing to me what a difference it made in how I feel to only take 2 first thing in the morning not 4. But I did it and I made it though. I had some horrible anxiety though. Does anyone else get panic attacks where they get dizzy, turn white as a ghost and real shaky? This generally only happens if I have a full blown one not just general anxiety. God bless to all!
Avatar f tn My Pdoc wants me to stop Prozac 80 mgs in the Morning and then Start Cymbalta 60mgs 1 x a day..THIS IS TO HAPPEN OVER 2 DAYS. I didnt take the Prozac today (Sat) and I am told to start the Cymbalta this Monday ( in 2 days) I have had withdrawal problems b4 with quick weaning off of Paxil and dont want to experience Seratonin syndrome ,end up in the ER ect.. I am also on ritalin,Lamicital,Abilify,attenalol.... Should I do this quick transition to cymbalta?
1442059 tn?1340240952 three weeks on cymbalta. i get shaky in the morning and have a hard time getting out of bed. i started taking it earlier in the evening, like 5 pm, so i'm not so groggy in the morning but the shakiness is still there..just less so. I feel like i can't really function until after lunch... really unmotivated. i tell people i'm working when i'm just staring at tv. I feel like i could sleep all day. anyway, want to hear more.
Avatar m tn Sounds like Tollerance withdraws. And if you have been taking them for that long, then your body has probably become dependent on them "I dont like the word addiction when it comes to this" Do you ever get Muscle twitches, when you close your eyes do you see colors, body cramps, do you feel WORSE IN THE MORNING "thats a big one" blurred vision?
Avatar m tn Ok. So I'm taking Cymbalta. I know it's incredibly stupid what I did, but I was determined. I tried for literally 3 hours to reach an orgasm by masturbating, but couldn't. The Cymbalta isn't in it's activation stage, so I'm told that it could go away? Don't know. My penis is always pushing in. Like when you get an erection... IDK, it's hard to explain. There's no pain.
Avatar f tn t take it away but make life a little bit easier. I also take Tizanadine and oxycodone for flare ups. In the morning I start taking Savella the new Fibromyalgia medication. My Rheumatologist gave me a four week starter pack of Savella today. I'm really nervous to take this medication because both Cymbalta and Lyrica were horrible medications for me. The side effects scare me. Suicide, nausea, vomiting, bleeding problems, rashes, etc. and I do mean the list goes on and on. Wish me luck.
460185 tn?1326077772 I was taking mine in the morning because thats what my regular doctor told me but really try taking it before bed. Hope I was some help.
Avatar m tn SO I just have a quick question if anyone knows, but my wife has been on zoloft for the past 8 years up to 150mg for about the last year. The doc just switched her to cymbalta since the Zoloft has not been working, but for some reason he said to start with 30mg for a week and then go to 60mg. Now she took the 30mg this morning but she feels like he is starting her off on to low of a dose even though it is a different drug becasue she is not feeling to good from stopping the zoloft.
Avatar f tn has put me Abilify 2mg in am along with the Cymbalta with the plan to cut my Cymbalta dose while raising the Abilify. I tell ya, my feet hurt more, my legs hurt more and I feel more depressed and that's without cutting down on the Cymbalta yet. I also gain some weight and crave high carbs and sweets more than I did before Cymbalta alone and the 2 meds together. I've been on abilify for about 5 or 6 weeks. I hope this helps somehow on your daughters' desision.
1218873 tn?1300091216 You may need to take careful notice and record when you feel sleepy or drugged or awake or even shakey in relation to the timing of the Cymbalta. I know some people take this drug in the morning rather than the evening because it can cause the early waking and trouble getting to sleep that you describe. It is also possible to split the dose into two 30mg portions if that would help decrease side effects or make them more managable. The doses wouldn't need to be evenly spaced.
Avatar n tn After a few months my doc. add a dose of 60mg in the morning too. So now I take 60mg 1 in the AM and 1 12 hours later. Talk to your doc. about your next move.
405614 tn?1329144114 Cymbalta is the only one I know going on right now. The criteria is that you have to have your MS dx for one year or more at the time of entering the study. If it is Cymbalta, I can say that it really helped me but for only about 2 months then it stopped working for some reason. :( We'll all be interested in hearing what pain study your doctor is referring you to. Please keep us posted.
Avatar f tn My best friend is on it for her fibro and suggests taking it in the morning?. I am planning to replace my morning dose,75mg, of Lyrica with the Cymbalta and keep up with the evening dose and see if that helps. If the nerve pain comes back I will definetly up the Lyrica again tho. It has been a Godsend to me! I still feel like I am 90 somedays, I am 49, but I am not bedridden on Percocet and muscle relaxers like I was before the Lyrica! Good luck and God bless!!
Avatar f tn I feel like I'm tired all the time (in my normal life) and when I was prescribed hydrocodone for a few months for an injury I felt all around much better. I got more done, had more energy..etc etc.. Why does that happen with this medication? Now that I'm going to be stopping them I wanted to find something that would help give me more pep. I already drink coffee.
