Cymbalta exhaustion

Common Questions and Answers about Cymbalta exhaustion

cymbalta

Avatar m tn I would be reluctant to say you need to change your medication. I take zoloft and the biggest difference with zoloft and Cymbalta is Cymbalta is also prescribed to treat chronic pain. So I don't know exactly how long you have been taking it but it seems like it would be beneficial. If it is being prescribed as a long term therapy medicine than it likely you won't have to be worried about the withdrawal symptoms anyway.
Avatar f tn I AM COMPLETELY EXHAUSTED - NOT GO TO SLEEP (ALTHOUGH I DO) EXHAUSTION - BUT - I FEEL VERY SICK KIND OF EXHAUSTION. MY LEGS FEEL DETACHED AND HEAVY. I HAVE SEVERE MUSCLE PAIN. I AM TAKING CYMBALTA - DON'T KNOW IF I COULD FEEL ANY WORSE THAN THIS BUT I TAKE IT EVERYDAY. ANY SUGGESTIONS. I AM GETTING DESPERATE.
Avatar f tn Along with this I had very sudden fits of exhaustion. as a life long insomniac this was very strange. I would fall asleep no matter what I was doing, I was talking nonsense, and I was slurring my words. My boyfriend seriously counted all the pills in the house making sure I didn't accidentally overdose. I also have a hard time breathing. I just run out of breath a lot faster. I went to my doctor and she said she thought it was allergies and allergy induced asthma.
Avatar n tn My mother in law recently had partial Parathyroid surgery about 3 months ago. Prior to this she had complete Thyroid removal and has been on Synthroid and Xanax for her anxiety issues. Now, she has gone into a completely different mindframe, which we feel is a result of the surgery and not another mental illness. She's had xrays, blood work, and even a pych eval. The doctors claim that she's suffering from Depression with Psychosis, or Psychosis with Depression.
Avatar f tn But more the fatigue. My doctor put me on cymbalta for anxiety about a month ago which helped temporarily with how tired I was, but I went to an endo as well, and my thyroid antibodies were high and I have 2 nodules less than 10 mm. So far the endo said to watch & I have a follow up in May! But I am just soooo tired! I also have a high rheumatoid arthritis factor, but normal is like below 8 & I'm only 13, so it's not too bad.
Avatar f tn Have any of you other mommies to be been experiencing a lot of exhaustion? I'm 13 weeks and I get so tired so quickly. Even with little things, like walking up a flight of stairs that would have been no problem for me before, leave me gasping for air, feeling dizzy, weak, and like I'm going to collapse. Am I okay?

Avatar f tn Anyone have any good tips on fighting first trimester exhaustion? I've tried everything from more snacking to more rest and I'm still always tired. I can't keep going on like this!
Avatar f tn How many of you get exhaustion to the point where you can't do anything after a certain point? I have about 6 hours and then thats it, I have to nap, it's like I don't have a choice. It's so hard with a little 6 year old as most of you know all too well. After the surgery, how long until you feel up to doing light housework etc...? Does your fatigue get any better after surgery? Sending good vibes...
