cymbalta crazy meds

Studies are showing an excellent sucess rate with both Lexapro and Cymbalta and this is why they are on top of my list too and i have success right now with Cymbalta. The only side effect i had was nausea and it went away. I don't feel like a ''zombie''.

m sick of being on so many meds. I thought she would only give me A small dose of pain meds to get me through work this week while I was waiting for my pain management referral to be processed through my insurance. NOPE she gave me the biggest bottle of it I've ever seen! Crazy.... Anyway I saw a chiropractor today and am seeing him every week for a month to see if they could offer more help than my doctors have been able to.

I was on Cymbalta for 3 years and didn't get any help from it. It's a #*$&%^ bear to wean off of, despite that its not a narcotic. My insurance finally would not pay for it anymore and my doctor wouldn't let me switch, so went off of it. But that's not to say that it doesn't help other people, just my personal observation. I had been on two other anti-depressants at the time.

So pcp says don't take the Gabapentin here try cymbalta? They both seem to have bad side affects!? Anyone have experiences or advice on cymbalta? Oh, and now am having a horrible pulling sensations in my throat?

Im on 30 mg. of cymbalta since may 8,Klonopin since april 23 and xanax since feb..tapering off xanax.......since adding cymbalta to this mixture my blood pressure has dropped as my heart rate has too........is this normal for this mixture? I dont like the cymbalta so far and i thought the klonopin was suppose to help with my tapering off xanax,i was suppose to stop xanax 2 days ago and so far i havent because im scared of withdrawals......

The doctor is also supposed to know of possible interactions between medications but due to a number of things like different doctors prescribing different meds for the same patient and some doctors just overlooking or not knowing about interactions, sometimes we have to check for ourselves. I'd say the best thing to do is to consult your pharmacist and ask if there is an interaction. You can also just google it.

I went happily to my psychiatrist thinking my Cymbalta (60mg) might be pooping out. I certainly wasn't having any major issues with anxiety or depression ON Cymbalta (loved it- been on 5 1/2 yrs for a depression episode in 2008). Worked great.

I suffer from OCD and have tried numerous serotonin meds, all of which I have had extreme side effects. My doctor put me on Cymbalta, but I have notices increased weight gain. I recently lost quite a bit of weight and no have put back on 15 lbs. She has suggested I try Luvox, but don't know if I should or not. I worked so hard to lose this weight and don't want to gain any more. I am at a loss of what decision to make.

Try cymbalta and if it does not work go onto the next!!!! Anxiety makes everyone feel crazy but bottom line is it cannot make you crazy , it's just your worst fears getting to you.

I ran out of my anti-depressant 6 days ago, and decided I wouldn't renew the request for more as I've done almost a week without them. The withdrawal symptoms are absolutely dreadful, there are pages and pages on google about the very subject. I'm not convinced the anti depressant was helping anyway as I'm often having mixed episodes even with a mood stabiliser added in, which is Tegretol.

Cymbalta is currently being prescribed like crazy for fibromyalgia because it has been approved for the treatment of fibro. My doctor wrote me a prescription for it, but I have not tried it because I have panic-type symptoms on occasion. I have read that it may not be good if you experience panic attacks, but if your issues are pain and depression without panic, it may help. Cymbalta works differently than paxil, so you may not experience the same issues.

I would switch gradually to Cymbalta and see what happens rather than being on both. As for the Wellbutrin added to the mix it could help with libido since dopamine is in play. Both Zoloft and Wellbutrin sounds like something you could try before getting on Cymblata. I don't think you shoud mix Cymbalta with Wellbutrin personally.

i was going crazy with the pain. doctor after doctor no one knew but to try the meds....tried all the meds.. lyrica cymbalta antidepressants nothing worked for Me. everyone is different.. yoga, physical therapy , Would leave me coming home in pain all i could do was crawl up in a ball and cry.. Couldn't eat lost weight…i was 100 pounds! i was slowly dying from not enough food, water or fresh air.. i am on pain meds now, the right amount..

Hello, I have been on 10mg of Lexapro since September 2010 and I must admit that is has helped with anxiety and depression. At first i had energy and didn;t have sleep issues but for the past couple of months i've been very sluggish and groggy. The doc decided to switch me to Cymbalta. I will start at 30mg and work my way up to 60 mg. I'm a little concerned about making the switch because it makes me wonder if the whole gettting on a medication process will take place all over again.

For over a year now, I have been taking Cymbalta for depression. I didn't find out until last December that I indeed have MS. I have noticed that the Cymbalta does help the MS pain along with relieving my depression. Due to insurance changes, it will be less expensive for me to take a generic antidepressant in the same category as Cymbalta. I believe it is a Seratonin Uptake. I could be wrong. Does anyone else take Paroxetine (Generic for Paxil) and does it help you with the MS pains?

I Normally lean towards the constipation side. I started a med called Cymbalta. Everything was fine until six weeks after starting it. I have had diarrhea for almost a month. I am a little better with soft strangely formed stools. Any ideas?

I think i went thru 3 other meds be4 going BACK to cymbalta. I take 60mg. EVERY morning. My friend takes 2, 60mg. a day! We BOTH agree it works WONDERS!! I take it for my fibro fatigue & depression due 2 ALL my medical problems. Though.................. as others have stated if u decide to STOP taking it make sure u CHANGE to something other drug. What i'm saying is DON"T just stop taking it. You shouldn't w/ ANY anti-depressants etc.!

i was taking cymbalta and gabapentin for about 18 months. he started me out on 30 mg and increased to 60mg cymbalta two weeks later. when i started seeing him i had not worked in about a year and a half. i had quit my job because i felt so bad. when i went back to work it was a very high production job and i started having alot more symptoms, to the point i cried every day there and then on the way home. after taking the cymbalta i started having a lot of body movements,some very severe.

I have noticed that I am feeling much better mood-wise, my pain is not as bad, motivation is better, etc., however, I have been craving food like mad. I am overweight to begin with, but ate pretty healthy before I started the Cymbalta. Now I have these horrible cravings for sugars/breads, etc. all foods I never ate before.
