Just hot my thyroid levels at a good level. I switched from pristiq to cymbalta back in November. I am tired ALL the time. More than when my thyroid was out of whack. Could the cymbalta be causing this and if so, what if I took it at night?

Overall I think Cymbalta is one of the best medication out there but this have a cost. Cymbalta cost is outrageous and Cymbalta is very hard to stop. I stopped cold-turkey after using it for only 5 months and I had brain zaps for a little more than a month. The withdrawal was quite severe but it is expected with all potent powerful antidepressant.

What is this Acal Nitraburst ? I need to be on something and I have gotten off of cymbalta. Is this better for pain of firomyalgia?

Due my health insurance more then tripling the cost of Cymbalta I have to change meds. I have been using Cymbalta for alomost four years, I am very concerned that my Doc wants to start me on 40mg of Prozac when I have been on 120mg of Cymbalta. Can I have your thoughts about 40mg vs. 120mg and what side affects I will have to go though.

Considering you have been taking cymbalta for a few years I think it was EXTREMELY careless of your doctor to have you quit it cold turkey. You should have slowly tapered off of the cymbalta while tapering onto the prozac. Did you quit cold turkey because you couldn't afford one more refill to do a proper taper of the cymbalta?

I want to become a mother again. I have a 19 y/o. I am a newly wed. My husband has no children we are considering IVF but it is so costly. Not sure if I am able d/t high FSH. didn't get result for AMH as of yet. But if its not possible for me to have one biologically we are considering using DE. My question. Is it cheaper using a family or friend as a donor in comparison using an anonymous donor. Where I am living, it cost $16,500 for DE...IVF cost almost $20,000.

Is anyone out there on Cymbalta? My Dr. switched me today and I am so afraid of the side effects. Ive been on Lexapro for the past 3 years but feel I might be immuned to it. He added Wellbutrin but it made me extremely anxious.....

The lowest added cost estimates I got for the Symfony IOL was about $1800-1900 in my area, for a Tecnis Toric monofocal IOL (which is what I ended up choosing) the added cost was $1333 in comparison. Those are costs in addition to the standard cataract surgery costs after insurance. The added cost included the extra surgeon fees as well as the IOL cost itself, in my case for the toric IOL is was split about $600 for the IOL and about $700 for the extra surgeon fees.

s not a cheap drug and cost a lot. I was very active while being on Cymbalta (going to the gym 3-4 times a week and jogging 45 min everyday) and very outgoing. My tolerance to alcohol increase a lot. I had no side-effects. The withdrawal was kinda bad... At least 100 brain zaps a day, irritability etc... But I did quit cold turkey and only had to endure this for 1 month.

I have been on Cymbalta for over a year by a world renowned Psychiatrist after being on a worthless drug called Imipramine. I have totally seen a change in myself and the side effects have been minimal. If weren't for the cost especially after losing insurance I still love it!! I pay 140.00 per month so make sure you shop around if your insurance doesn't help. It is a fairly need drug but specifically for GAD sufferers. Good luck to you!

I have been put on Cymbalta medication 60 mg at night to replace the 50mg of amitriptyline I was taking. I have taken it for nearly 2 weeks and there seems to be pros and cons. I also take 400mg of Lyrica a day. The amitriptyline was giving me a good nights sleep, but was not overly helping the neuropathic pain once awake, it also left a really bad taste in my mouth and I found myself eating constantly, and piling on wieght.

it was said 5-years ago i had depression and panic attacks, ive been on paxil,effexxor,lexapro,cymbalta,triptolines,all of the new ones and some old, now ive been switched to prozac 20mg. can anyone tell me anything good about prozac?

I was currently on Oxycodone for 3 montsh post and pre surgical period and now that I am trying to stop them I am in severe depression. I am and have been on Cymbalta and from what I am reading this may or moay not help but it definately isn't doing the trick for me. Any advice???

I never did see any difference from using it vs Cymbalta. I had tried it since I did not really notice anything while using Cymbalta. I could up the dose I guess however, the cost of all the meds I take are just to great to go higher. As is I split the dose to make it last longer. No side affects though. I swear by Tramadol 200 slow release and Lyrica. Without those two I would be a complete mess.

I was wondering if anyone who has had this procedure may be able to give me an approx. cost of how much this cost. I am Australian but currently in the US. The Surgeon I contacted told me the initial appointment would cost $300-$400 and then could not even give me a ball park figure on how much the actual procedure would cost. I do not have health insurance. If I knew approx.
