cymbalta

1226682 tn?1399937724 I was on Cymbalta along with Propanolol, Blood pressure medication, and Clonazepam. I had excellent results.
Avatar f tn i tried cymbalta and it made my anxiety worse. but remember all people are different and this med may help you.take care.
Avatar n tn I have been on 60 mg of cymbalta and my dr just added buspar! How did it work out for you?
Avatar f tn I did Gene site testing and it told me Pristiq was the only pill that would work well for me so I’m taking that now. They also have me on BuSpar and believe that the BuSpar is giving me the rash they just told me to take an allergy pill. Had I known that I never would’ve complained about the rash, and been happier on Zoloft. But I never had the rash on my neck or face. Good luck. It took me about six weeks for any of the anti-depressants to get out of my system.
Avatar f tn I used Buspar 10 years ago and got off ativan and my anxiety went away. I was on Zyprexa at the beginning and yes it caused a big weight gain. I have been on Ativan for a year and a half. My history is long and I think I posted it a couple of times on this site and on the fibromyalgia site. Been through a lot, am tapering slowly off the Ativan but am exchanging to Valium to make the process slower.
Avatar f tn First, duloxetine can make you more anxious. Did it? Cymbalta can work well for depression and pain control, but because it's an intentionally stimulating antidepressant, it can make some people anxious. So if you just started that as well, consider if things got more or less anxious when you went on that drug. The Xanax is best take only as needed, not on a regular basis. If the other two drugs are working, it's hard to see why you'd need to be on a dubious drug like Buspar.
709686 tn?1277432159 I personally have taken meds like lexapro and buspar. Buspar just work for my anxiety and I rally don't remember having any adverse effects.
Avatar f tn I've been on Cymbalta for about 2 years and have always had anxiety issues. The doc recently bumped my Cymbalta from 60mg/1x to 60mg/2x and gave me Buspar 15mg/3x (yeah, i'm a pretty bad "freak out" case....). I can't (won't) do benzo's anymore (waking up @ 2-3am every night and having to eat a Xanax before going back to sleep is for the birds!) but I don't know how the Buspar works.
Avatar f tn If you have GAD, it IS not a good idea to go onto Cymbalta, it may trigger even worse anxiety. There are alot of other drugs with minimal side effects. Lamactil being one(it's actually an anti seizure med) , it's an atypical mood stabilizer which has also helped some like myself with anixety at higher doses. Don't be freaked out my the scary side effect of the rash, it only happens 8/100 000, as well if you slowly increase the dose, that pretty much elimenates that chances.
Avatar f tn I was on Cymbalta for 5 years and it just stopped working. I like my Cymbalta and had very little side effects with it for many years but all of a sudden I started getting headaches and anxiety, sleeping all day and missing days at a time from work. They have switched me to Cypralex now and I am quite concerned it won't do as much for me. It has only been a few days so I cannot determine the effects quite yet, except that I have the shakes really bad.
Avatar f tn 3 weeks ago to Pristiq 50mg. The first week I took 30mg Cymbalta then 2nd week and since, no Cymbalta and only Pristiq (still taking buspar & Xanax prn) I feel I'm noticing small improvements in the past cpl weeks but not back to normal. Today is a rough day with anxiety/adrenaline/agitation. I so want outta this hole and praying it works for me. Anyone else have success switching to Pristiq? Would like to hear how long it took for ppl to notice a difference.
Avatar f tn My dr has given me Buspar for my anxiety attacks. I don't know if it is really working and I have been taking it for around 6 months now. I want to try something else, but I am scared to try Xanax, because of its(or mine) addictive personality. I was wondering what everyone thought about this.
Avatar f tn I dont want to be around anyone, super extremely edgy and moody, I just want to hide in my house. I went to the dr yesterday and she gave me a cocktail of wellbutrin, buspar and atarax. I feel like the withdrawal symptoms are back! Brain shock and now I am getting so fed up like I am in a downward spiral. I feel like I am in my own hell. I am looking for any advice I can get. I am considering joining a lawsuit against Cymbalta. Has anyone been involved in any?
Avatar f tn She said to take one every other day for two weeks and then quit. Keep taking Klonopin. Now I see Klonopin withdrawal and side affects are bad and maybe I'm getting symptoms from that too? This is the first morning I was to not take zoloft but heard tapering slowly is better, so took half (will do for two weeks) and then down to .125 for two weeks, now I wonder if I should get off klonopin first or what to do.
Avatar m tn I get overheated and sweaty from vacuuming the floor lol. I'm on zoloft 150 mg and Buspar 5 mg 2x days. I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorder and hypocondrosis. I'm a female and 31 years old.
Avatar f tn I was on buspar years ago and this seemed to help me emensly. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow. Can you tell me the signs of this? I did a search , just was curious as t others symptoms.
1225279 tn?1295545587 progressively stop medications, especially lamictal and topamax, verapamil and vicodin.
881463 tn?1245345649 In about a month once he see what Cymbalta can do and if it works I will transition from Clonaepam to Buspar, which I hope is a good medication???? . He said the Buspar's primary drawback though is it is a much slower acting anti-anxiety medication and will once started take a few weeks to get a maximum effect. He wants to take a slow approach and not introduce or change my meds to quickly until we find a primary snri or ssri that works well for me.
Avatar m tn I had severe deppression and was suicidal so my doctor prescribed me cymbalta buspar and something else all for my deppression and anxiety I have been throwing up 2-3 times a day and uncontrollable thoughts My doctor never told me those were side effects Im also on prilosec for my stomach and I was also diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder I am not doing too good right now and these uncontrollable thoughts are devastating me with bad thoughts of things I never would do and never have thou
Avatar f tn ive recently (since thursday) been put on Buspar 15 mgs a day twice a day. for now only taking 7.5 mgs at a time for the first 2 weeks then up to 15. im told its one of those keep taking consistantly to see the effects kinda meds, & my pharmacy tech teacher said she hasnt heard anything bad about it really. but its the first time ive actually been put on some form of anti-anxiety agent...which is probably what i ultimately needed.
Avatar f tn She takes cymbalta for nerve damage and pain and it helps with a number of things you listed vibrations vertigo etc, is also a anti depressant and it gives you energy. She is also taking neurontin for nerve pain as well as vicodin when it gets really bad. I hope this is some use to you.
723959 tn?1314744225 and as for the rest of the nights i will finally gave up fighting the feeling and go take 1/2 of klonipin and about 15 mins later i would fall asleep. and one week ago i had a full physical, bloodwork and everything came out fine. any advise????
1345272 tn?1276400328 Cymbalta and Wellbutrin + Methadone sounds good to me. I mean I personally tried Cymbalta for a few months a few months ago and it worked very well. Cymbalta was stimulating for me and gave me a lot of energy on it's on without using Wellbutrin. What is the other medication you are talkin about when you say 4 medications?
Avatar f tn I have three choices. Add buspar(trying this first), switch to Cymbalta or increase my Klonopin. I originally started out at 2mgs of Klonopin many years ago, so I haven't built tolerance quickly. I actually lowered my dose a few years back. What Is considered a large dose? I don't like taking benzos, but I wanna live my best life. Welcome all opinions!
Avatar f tn My nervousness ended immediately, though I had a mild headache from even one-half cup withdrawal of coffee. This morning I took Buspar and did not have any coffee, and Buspar worked much better for me. I still need the coffee, due to other medication, but I don't think that Buspar and coffee at the same time is the way to go.
709686 tn?1277432159 I'm open to anything but I've never heard of Nivram. So far I've tried Prozac, Lexapro, Amatryptaline, Cymbalta and buspar and they all have horrible side effects on me. I've taken 5mgs of Valium before and felt GREAT the next day. No body aches, no mood swings, no cravings for my pain meds....it was wonderful.
