Can I take Hydrocodone 10/325, Cyclobenzaprine 10mg, and Tramadol 50mg together safely?

I dont post much (read a lot though)...a little over 3 weeks clean (again, LOL)... My right shoulder has been killing me the last 2-3 weeks, and this weekend, seems to have gotten worse; Doc said on Fri, most likely muscular...went through the weekend with Tylenol and today, pain is even worse. I asked him for something "non-narcotic" (he knows about my addiction) and he suggested Cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer).

My new doctor prescribed me Cyclobenzaprine for my muscles spams but I take celexa on my regular basis. I remember he told me to be careful in no combining those two. Tonight, I took my celexa around 1am. At 3:55am, I forgot I took the celexa and I took Cyclobenzaprine. Do you think is something I should be worry? I was in a car accident March 20th, 2009. I was put on cyclobenzaprine and naproxen for 3 months by my doctor to treat whiplash from mid back to neck. At that time I had a severe reaction to naproxen and developed severe ankle to hip pain. Then my doctor put me on tramadol with cyclobenzaprine. I am in constant pain. I am taking Lortab 10mg Q6hrs. This is the only thing I have found that helps the pain. It does not go away but it helps me to tolerate the pain. I'm at the end of my rope! I am a nurse and trying to work. Is there any new medicines or treatments out there that I could try?.I take Neurotin 300 TID and Celexa 10mg 1Qday. I feel like I need to take more Lortab but do not want to continue with that.

Have been on lorazepam and cyclobenzaprine muscle relaxers then have been taking them rather frequently but still following the proper dosage instructions. Started getting respitory depression think I almost died....stopped breathing in sleep...lungs seemed depleted yet constricted...weak in the diaphragm. He prescribed it for the pain and limited range of motion caused by tight neck muscles that didn't respond to stretching excersises. This is day two and I find it a remarkable improvement. You are right, certain medications particularly muscle relaxants and antichlinergics, interfere with the results of EMG like baclofen and flexeril or cyclobenzaprine that you are taking. It would be prudent to apprise your neurologist of all the medications you are on, so that the EMG results are appreciated in that light. Muscle biopsy can be taken up after an EMG. I had a UA done after taking 3-4 Lortab on a daily basis for the past three years; however, the UA has tested negative twice within the past 6 weeks. How is this possible?

Ok I'm 27 years old, My dr first put me on Lortab 10mg when I was 21 after having a complete hysterectomy. After the first two weeks then he took me off of them. My dentist prescribed Lortab for me after a small dental surgery. I've taken stronger pain killers before and have not really enjoyed the affects, but I really like Lortab. It doesn't upset my stomach and I feel very good on it. I only take it at night before bed because it helps me go to sleep. I've had insomnia for years and this is the first thing I've ever found that helps. I go to sleep with no problem, and wake up early the next day feeling fine.

As far as helping your liver in other ways, you know the answer to one way---by stopping your Lortab intake. Lortab is for moderate to severe body pain only, NOT for mental/emotional/psychic pain or for getting high for funsies. Be honest with yourself why you are taking them. You have indeed damaged your liver, but it will try to heal itself IF you stop those pills immediately. At the very least, you must go off them completely for 4-6 months to give your liver a fighting chance at repair.
