Once I sat up and took a gabapentin and 1/2 of a cyclobenzaprine, I began feeling better. It's now 5am and I've had to take another 1/2 cyclobenzaprine and a "cramp tab" (my husband gets these for me at work, they work sooo well).

I have trouble sleeping when i take gabapentin. I take 600mg at bedtime right now. My doctor just started me on it and I took this 5 hours ago. I am supposed to take another 300mg in the morning. I took the 600mg at like 9 pm. It is now almost 3am so I took 20 mg of cyclobenzaprine and the am dose of gabapentin. Is this safe? Like I said I am new to these meds and want to make sure I am not overdoing it.

Don't remember having any anxiety issues while on it the last time, but at that time I was also on Gabapentin, he took me off the Gabapentin in September and had to put me back on it. Then took me off it again last month and is telling me I have been on it too long and can not take it anymore????? Well I made it through today, a little on the sleepy side. 47pm. I took a cyclobenzaprine 10 mg and 100mg gabapentin upstairs and laid down for a few minutes until my back was relaxed enough to make it downstairs. Once downstairs (in agony), I took a pain pill. I feel that my pain level has gone to a very manageable level. TG. Lol well november 2011 imaging showed anular tear and bulging at L4/L5. So at that point i started new pt and he put me on gabapentin, meloxicam and vicodin 5/500. Continued with all that for 6monyhs and only got worse!!!! I suffer from sever pain in back buttock and both legs! Numbness and weakness as well. For example, I do not know if you are taking gabapentin (Neurontin) for seizure or for neuropathic pain. If you have seizure disorder, then tramadol is NOT recommended to treat your pain. Also, please note that there is a major drug interaction between tramadol and cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril). Taken together can further increase the risk for seizures.
