Avatar f tn I'm on the exactly same thing. Just worried since I'm a first time mom. I took one earlier and my body feels relaxed and my baby is still moving around which is a good sign to me (: I just hope it works. I really can't afford a chiropractor again but I hate medicines if I can avoid them. Thank you !
483757 tn?1208481255 My OB took me off of all of my Fibro meds at the beginning of pregnancy. (Meds were- Neurontin, Cyclobenzaprine, Baclofen, Trazodone, Vit. D and Tramadol) The only thing she will allow me to take is 1/2 to 1 tab of Vicodin 10/500mg a day even though narcotics have NEVER worked for my pain and she knows that- and I hate Vicodin. At every appointment, I tell her that my pain is worsening and unbearable but her only suggestions have been more narcotics and warm water exercise.

Avatar n tn Hepatic Impairment In a pharmacokinetic study of sixteen subjects with hepatic impairment (15 mild, 1 moderate per Child-Pugh score), both AUC and Cmax were approximately double the values seen in the healthy control group. Based on the findings, Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used with caution in subjects with mild hepatic impairment starting with the 5 mg dose and titrating slowly upward.

917815 tn?1377498254 I dont post much (read a lot though)...a little over 3 weeks clean (again, LOL)... My right shoulder has been killing me the last 2-3 weeks, and this weekend, seems to have gotten worse; Doc said on Fri, most likely muscular...went through the weekend with Tylenol and today, pain is even worse. I asked him for something "non-narcotic" (he knows about my addiction) and he suggested Cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer).
Avatar f tn Hi. I am wanting to quit taking Cyclobenzaprine. I took 20mg a day off and on, like twice a week for 2 years, and then started taking the 20 mg every day for the last 13 years. I plan to wean off, and am wondering what to expect as of withdrawal symptoms. Also, does anyone know of a natural med I could take in it's place?
Avatar f tn You are right, certain medications particularly muscle relaxants and antichlinergics, interfere with the results of EMG like baclofen and flexeril or cyclobenzaprine that you are taking. It would be prudent to apprise your neurologist of all the medications you are on, so that the EMG results are appreciated in that light. Muscle biopsy can be taken up after an EMG. Consult your neurologist for his preferences and expertise. Take care.
Avatar f tn They diagnosed me with a cervical sprain and prescribed me Cyclobenzaprine and Tylenol-Codeine as well as applied a muscle relaxant shot and sent me on my way. I started the prescription regimen that day. Two days later, I began to lose hearing in my right ear. It felt as though it was "full" of water or wax or the like. I visited a different clinic (as I was in another city) and they prescribed me a steroid and informed me that my eardrum had filled with fluid.
Avatar n tn I was in a car accident March 20th, 2009. I was put on cyclobenzaprine and naproxen for 3 months by my doctor to treat whiplash from mid back to neck. At that time I had a severe reaction to naproxen and developed severe ankle to hip pain. Then my doctor put me on tramadol with cyclobenzaprine. I was still experiencing shots of pain down my arms About a month later, so my doctor had me get a MRI of my neck.
Avatar n tn Can I took two tablets of ic oxycodone 5-325, can I take my ic cyclobenzaprine 5 mg with it?
Avatar f tn Concidentally someone else was asking this exact question with the same pill combination (the green/yellow capsule along with an unmarked yellow pill) about a year ago... Quote follows as to the answer about the unmarked pill: --------------------- "There is really no way to identify an unmarked tablet. But, since your capsule is tramadol made in Mexico, it's possible the small yellow tablet is cyclobenzaprine made in Mexico.
5657776 tn?1371799886 I am supposed to take another 300mg in the morning. I took the 600mg at like 9 pm. It is now almost 3am so I took 20 mg of cyclobenzaprine and the am dose of gabapentin. Is this safe? Like I said I am new to these meds and want to make sure I am not overdoing it.
2085202 tn?1373199740 Have been on lorazepam and cyclobenzaprine muscle relaxers then have been taking them rather frequently but still following the proper dosage instructions. Started getting respitory depression think I almost died....stopped breathing in sleep...lungs seemed depleted yet constricted...weak in the diaphragm. Went off it now and now feeling what seems almost like heart attack symptoms.
Avatar m tn The dr. just prescribed cyclobenzaprine 10 mg. tablets.... I took 1 ...did not feel like it was doing anything.....my shoulders were still arched up to my ears...(i think i also have a pinched nerve in my shoulder so my shoulders are always up)...... so about 2 1/2 hours later i took one more............ugh.......it sent the pain into high gear....seems like it aggravated my back......because...i was having pains all over my back in spots.....even in the lower back.....on the muscle parts....
Avatar m tn On the phone they asked what I was taking and I rambled off some of them like flexeril and motrin and they interrupted me. They ask if I was taking any anti-depressants. But they never said what they were looking for specifically. They aren't discriminating. They asked for a list of prescriptions from my doctor so they can approve my test.

Avatar m tn I just remembered that about a year ago I was prescribed some muscle relaxers for my neck (Cyclobenzaprine). Do you guys think that if I take one or two of them when I am having a hard time sleeping from the restless legs s**t that it will help me sleep?
Avatar f tn My neurologist just gave me some samples of Amrix, a time relased form of Cyclobenzaprine Hydrocholoride. He prescribed it for the pain and limited range of motion caused by tight neck muscles that didn't respond to stretching excersises. This is day two and I find it a remarkable improvement. I take it once a day in the evening and it seems the main sleepiness side effect is over while I sleep while the benefits remain the next day.
Avatar m tn Among the drugs you are taking Cymbalta causes memory loss, Pamelor, cyclobenzaprine, nortriptyline, hydrocodone and promethazine cause confusion, Tramadol causes hallucination and together all these drugs can affect your memory. You need a serious revision of your prescription. Please consult your treating doctor. Take care!
Avatar f tn Unfortunately, I have both and am currently on 600mg of gabbapentin 3x a day and 10mg of cyclobenzaprine 2x a day.. Not trying to scare you.. I have nerve pain from MS and muscular pain due to the spinal anomalous in the T5 region of my spine How your feeling just sounds really similar.
Avatar f tn m a 24 year old female, suffering from intense (10/10) pain in my head when I cough, laugh, scream, bend over/stand up, roll over in bed etc....the pain lasts about 5-6 seconds and throbs at the base of my skull and the top of my head. Started last July when I was taking Spironolactone. On a good day I experience the pain ~10 times, but on average it's about ~30-40 times a day.
Avatar m tn Hello xLadyMX, Welcome to our Pain Management Community. I'm glad that you found us and took the time to post your question. Please excuse my tardy response. I encourage you to ask your Pharmacist this question also. Avoid the Pharm Tech is you are not getting information. You'll probably have to ask to talk to the Pharmacist - or you can even call. Pharmacists are an excellent source and very often know more than our Medical Providers in terms of medications.
Avatar f tn Not sure of cause. Severe muscle cramping and contractures in legs, feet, hands and neck. For past 2 months, and 3 to 4 x nightly. Only one night without the cramping. I drink lots of fluids. Calcium, sodium and potassium levels ok. Have increased potassium foods intake and started on calcium supplements on my own. I have them during the day when I sit in certain chairs, but not as severe as the ones I get at night. Have them while in swimming and getting out of the pool and while driving.
Avatar f tn It was very pressure-y feeling and then had minor shooting and pinching pain in the back of the head. I went back and he gave me cyclobenzaprine and more diclo to de-tense my muscles - the combo seemed to work great for 10 days and the pressure was less, the pain was less and the pinching went away. But as soon as I was off it went away. At this point OTCs didn't help except BC Powder. I went to a neuro and had an MRI no contrast and came back clear.
Avatar n tn For the last 8 days I have been having this nagging throbbing pain in my right shoulder blade. My doctor prescriped Cyclobenzaprine muscle relaxers and 600mg motrin. I have been taking these for the last three days and still the same nagging pain and the only time I have relief is when I am lying flat on my back. People are telling me that it could be my heart having problems and this is causing my back problems. Can this be true? What kinds of tests should I do?
