So, if Im taking anywhere from 40-80 mg of hydrocodone and roughly 1500-4000 mg of acetaminophen a day and I begin the isoniazid treatment am I risking serious health problems? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

My brother is on welfare and the doctors at the clinic have given him the following meds. Tramadol 50 mg, Trazadone 50mg,Amitriptyline 10mg, cyclobenzaprine 10mg, Hydrocodone/APAP 5mg/500mg. In addition he was also given medication for Diabetes Type II, metformin 850 mg, glipizide 5mg, lisinopril 5 mg, simvastatin 20mg, Asprin 81 mg, Ranitidine 150 mg. Additionally he was also prescribed Naproxen 500mg and Alumina Magnesia 360 ml. I think this is too much medication. Any suggestions?

Tramadol is an agonist/antogonist type of medication and can cancel out the effects of the Hydrocodone. If someone is on Hydrocodone and is dependent on it and takes Tramadol it can cause withdrawal. You are right, certain medications particularly muscle relaxants and antichlinergics, interfere with the results of EMG like baclofen and flexeril or cyclobenzaprine that you are taking. It would be prudent to apprise your neurologist of all the medications you are on, so that the EMG results are appreciated in that light. Muscle biopsy can be taken up after an EMG. Consult your neurologist for his preferences and expertise. Take care.

I am 35 weeks pregnant with my 4th child. My OB took me off of all of my Fibro meds at the beginning of pregnancy. (Meds were- Neurontin, Cyclobenzaprine, Baclofen, Trazodone, Vit. D and Tramadol) The only thing she will allow me to take is 1/2 to 1 tab of Vicodin 10/500mg a day even though narcotics have NEVER worked for my pain and she knows that- and I hate Vicodin.

I waiver between 20-30mg a day and have been on them for about a year or so.....I started them to get off of a Hydro habbit but now I am faced with the reality of having to detow from the Methadone. I am hoping that the 20-30mg habbit will not be as bad as 150ml but we will see. I took a hydro this morning and feel fine so I do not think I will have a problem with the interaction between my last dose last night and the hydro's this morning.

How long have you been clean from the hydrocodone? Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) is a popular muscle relaxer these days - and it only presents very limited problems with it being a drug of abuse. The instant sleep thing will go away after you establish a routine with it. Wish that I could really help you - but yours isnt a common complaint with flexeril. Do you do any breathing exercises?

Thank you for the info, I had no idea. I just took .25 mg last night. I woke up at around 4am with nuasea and a slight burning sensation on my arms and face. I am pretty sure I know what caused the nuasea, but the burning sensation? I have read the side affects and of course none of which I am experiencing are on the list. I at times also have a pounding heart (not sure if you consider it racing), and I know that a racing heart can be a serious side effect of klonopin.

I took one earlier and my body feels relaxed and my baby is still moving around which is a good sign to me (: I just hope it works. i used tramadol tog et myself off a huge amount of Heroin and oxycontin, but i was only able to stay off for two months, it will only mask your addiction, and quite possibly just move it from hydrocodone to tramadol itself, it is very addictive and the physical wd's can cause seizures, it can help reliee the physical wd symptoms you feel from the hydrocodone but it really only masks them and covers your addiction, so i really doubt that will relaly help you get clean, the cyclobenzoaprine(fl

Is that safe? The only interaction that i am worried about is the methadone. I was kinda bad and gave all all my klonopins to a friend (at the time she needed it, but I do have seizures so i must take benzo's), All i had let was 1.5 mgs of Klonopin, 0.2mgs Chlonodine, 1 mg ativan (another pill i found with the tramadol)., the 200mg Seroquel ( well right now, i cut them in half i i dont need it), Its hard to pee at the clinic when they have the random urins, and that 50 mg Tramadol.

I am supposed to take another 300mg in the morning. I took the 600mg at like 9 pm. It is now almost 3am so I took 20 mg of cyclobenzaprine and the am dose of gabapentin. Is this safe? Like I said I am new to these meds and want to make sure I am not overdoing it.

Have been on lorazepam and cyclobenzaprine muscle relaxers then have been taking them rather frequently but still following the proper dosage instructions. Started getting respitory depression think I almost died....stopped breathing in sleep...lungs seemed depleted yet constricted...weak in the diaphragm. Went off it now and now feeling what seems almost like heart attack symptoms.
