606349 tn?1220227881 Every summer i seem to break out pretty bad around my chin and mouth. And today i was searching on acne topics and i read about Perioral Dermatitis. The acne around my chin seems very close to that rash that is rare for males. I also read that Perioral Dermatits seems to show during humid times of climit. I live in Clovis, California and it gets very hot here during the summer. If possible can i get information on if i have Perioral Dermatits or if its just acne.
549876 tn?1219952270 ve been making sure I clean my face 3 times a day, morning noonish and before bed. I then use clearasil vanishing acne cream. It works good! I have noticed, that the oil from my face gets on my pillow case and if I don't wash it twice a week, I break out more. So try washing or changing your pillow case more, and flip your pillow maybe. I have way through the week after I have used both sides for two nights each, just throw a towel over my pillow and sleep on it.

Avatar m tn local treatment with azelaic acid, salicylic acid, topical retinoids, benzoyl peroxide. Mild papulo-pustular (inflammatory) acne: benzoyl peroxide or topical retinoids, topical antibiotics (such as erythromycin). Moderate inflammatory acne: benzoyl peroxide or topical retinoids combined with oral antibiotics (tetracyclines). Isotretinoin is an option.

309783 tn?1271958229 My dermatologist recommends long term low dose oral Isotretinoin for resistant rosacea co-existing with adult acne (there is no risk of pregnancy). He says this will reduce telangiectasias and redness. I thought retinoids made telangiectasias and redness worse? Or is that just topical retinoids? I would value your advice. Thanks, Eloise.
Avatar f tn Within the last couple of months, I have developed this facial rash on my forehead, checks, and along my jawline. It is similar to a breakout, however, the bumps are small and never develop into a whitehead or black head. Basically, these small bumps form under the skin and just stay there. They are the most severe along my jawline. They are not red, irritated, or itchy, however, they make the texture of my skin very rough. If you squeeze them, white junk oozes out.
Avatar f tn The only one Ive heard a lot of people say that just happened to be true for me is if you have a lot of acne/skin problems during pregnancy then its a girl.

Avatar f tn I never really had acne on my face let alone my back but now I'm beginning to break out on the back or my shoulders. What kind of products are safe/effective in treating that sort of acne. Not overly concerned just wanna control it if possible.
Avatar m tn Hello, Fusidic acid and minocycline are both antibiotics which are used for the treatment of acne. Treatment options include topical and oral antibiotics, topical retinoids, hormonal therapy, dermabrasion , phototherapy and laser resurfacing. Normally a combination of treatments is followed and if nothing proves effective then dermabrasion and laser therapy are useful. You can discuss these treatment options with your dermatologist.

1178023 tn?1293733628 Hi, after a couple of years trying to conceive I am pregnant. I became pregnant one month after my 35th birthday. I am healthy, my husband had a translocation on one of his chromosomes which narrowed are chances of conceiving to 9% every month instead of 18%. Nothing serious DNA wise. I also just found out I was having twins. It's scary writing this down because I'm 6 weeks and one could disappear by the 12th week. I'm a wreck.

143746 tn?1301274822 Thank you for your response. They were CVS brand Epsom Salts from CVS, so those shouldn't have been contaminated. I did have pressure in my eyes of 20 and 20, 22 and 23, and 22 and 26. I have no peripheral vision loss. Could ocular hypertension cause the symptoms I am experiencing?
