Common Questions and Answers about Cryselle period

cryselle

Avatar f tn So early Sunday morning I had sex with this guy. We didn't use protection, I'm not on birth control, and he pulled out but I'm not sure how fast. I looked online and it said take 4 Cryselle(a birth controll) and then 4 more 12 hours later. It said that should work but I'm not sure. I need help bad. My parents don't know, and I'm 15. Help ASAP!
Avatar f tn A few months ago I was prescribed birth control by my doctor, I was given Cryselle 28. I am 16, sexually active and suffering from moderate to sever acne. To both my doctor and I, birth control was the answer. I was not even able to get halfway through my second pack. Within a matter of weeks I gained 15 pounds. I'm pretty active as I play soccer and run often and my diet is that of the average 16 year old so not that great but nothing too bad.
Avatar f tn t taken any pills since or had sex. Is it possible that I could get pregnant? I was taking Cryselle.
Avatar f tn My wedding is next month and unfortunately I am supposed to get my period that same day. I've heard that by taking the 21 active birth control pill and then starting a whole new package would make your period stop. I wanna make sure this is okay and that there would be no bad consequences if I do it.
Avatar f tn ve ever had in my life and I noticed that the blood at first was pinkish , then turned red but it had almost like tissue pieces in it ( this period is when I started my birth control called cryselle) so I was worried but my period came so I thought maybe it was my uterus shedding. My periods are usually 7 days but this period ended up only being 2 days and like a morning of 3.

Avatar f tn Nothing worked until I started the BC pill Cryselle. I have had no problems for 6 months but suddenly i began spotting and now i’ve been bleeding heavily for 2 weeks. I’m unsure why this would suddenly occur when I didn’t miss any pills or taken any pills late. I just thought I finally found something that worked and It’s incredibly disappointing to be back at square one it feels like.

Avatar m tn My GYN put me on Cryselle 28 birth control because my period was over 2 months late and she said I have polycystic ovaries. I am of normal weight (5'3 and 126 lbs) but my breasts have swollen so much and are in so much pain, and I am gaining a lot of weight while maintaining a healthy diet. Do I have a choice to stop taking birth control to avoid its side effects, and do I have another option to treating PCOS and regulating my menstrual cycle other than birth control?
Avatar f tn I have been taking Cryselle (thats the generic name - I think it may be the Lo Loestrin but check with you dr). I have been on it for a few years now and haven't had any problems with weight. I may get a zit here and there but NOTHING near a breakout by any means.
Avatar n tn I have been on Cryselle 28 pack for just about two weeks. I had unprotected sex just about 3 days ago and took plan b a couple hours afterwards. He DID ejaculate in me. I have had horrible symptoms including, breast tenderness, diarrhea, increased vaginal discharge, cramping and extreme nausea. Food is no longer appetizing, when I eat I want to throw up. Is this all just horrible side effects of the plan b or is this possibly very early signs of pregnancy?

Avatar f tn I started cryselle about 3 weeks ago, and for almost that whole time I've had leg pain from my thighs all the way down my calves. The pain is in both of my legs, so I'm pretty sure it's not a blood clot causing it. Does anyone know what could be causing the pain? I am at the point where I may just quit taking it, as my acne has gotten much worse, and I've been having bad mood swings, since I started taking it.
Avatar n tn I thought maybe at first it was because I was purposely skipping my period by going from one pack to another without taking the placebo pills because my doctor said it was okay to do so. Now I'm thinking maybe that's not so okay and it's messed with my cycle. Now I'm in my last week of active pills and have been bleeding for almost a week. It hasn't been extremely heavy but heavy enough to be more than spotting.
Avatar m tn We had sex on 11-17-12 and She was expecting her period to be on 11-20-12! She says she feels the usual symptoms as if she would be starting her period but yet it hasn't started yet. Could this be the birth control altering her cycle? Or does this mean she's pregnant? I need some information on what to expect and I need answers pleeeeassseee!!!
Avatar f tn Express scripts never sends my perscription on time and usually when they do, they send the wrong perscription of a thing called Cryselle (0.3, 0.03). The differences in numbers stress me out but I have a lot of unused pills of that brand because of all the mess ups. I’m running out of my Estarylla and it will be awhile before Express gets their act together, so will it be a drastic change if I take those pills the last week of my cycle to ride it out?
Avatar f tn I was put on birth control(Cryselle) almost 3 weeks ago. My doctor didn't tell me how long it takes to get in my system and I had unprotected sex last week. My friend told me it only took a few days and I believed her because she is on birth control also. The papers that came with them didn't tell me how long. Right after I had sex, I started getting headache's everyday. Is that a sign of pregnancy or is it just the pills causing them?
Avatar f tn I am worried about my cycle. Last month i had a normal cycle, but this month my menstruation or 'withdrawal' bleeding hasn't occurred. I am on the birth control tablets Cryselle (21-28 day. 7 are inactive). In January I took the first and second week of tablets. I forgot to take the third week and fourth week of tablets. I did not partake in any sexually activities. My body was fine, normal bleeding, normal ovulation.
Avatar f tn In May my period was from the 9th to the 14th. And on the May 12th I started taking cryselle (switched from tri sprintec due to weight gain) and a week and one day later my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and have pretty much been having unprotected sex since although he always pulls out. *For about a week or two I've been having pregnancy symptoms, swollen and tender breasts, horrible cramping, smells bother me really bad, i get headaches every day, and I'm always really nauseous.
Avatar f tn I had been on Cryselle or one of it's derivatives since I was 15. Just recently I switched to Sprintec because I had lost my insurance coverage and it was cheaper. It has been about two months since I switched and recently I have been having anxiety like symptoms such as, lightheadedness, falling feeling, dizziness, loss of appetite, emotional among other things.
Avatar f tn About two weeks ago, I started taking the birth control pill Cryselle. A few days ago, I started noticing pimples in my pubic areas. I know I do not have an STD. I'm wondering if there is any possible way that the pubic pimples are a side effect to the birth control? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, any remedies to get rid of the pain and the pimples would be helpful!
Avatar f tn I thought it was the birth control I was taking a month ago called cryselle so I stopped taking that too. Yet again I have the same thing (except for the numbness) even after I stopped the pill. Could you please tell me what I have? Or what I should do or take?
Avatar n tn I am on Cryselle and have been for about 1 1/2 years. I tend to miss 2-3 pills a month (not in a row), I usually only take 3 of my sugar pills every month and I don't typically start my new pack on the same day every month. Could I get pregnant if I have unprotected sex under these "circumstances"?
Avatar f tn Im going tp take cryselle i really like this pill.
Avatar f tn I also have endometriosis and they put me on the depo shot. I haven't had a period in 2 to 3 years. (whitch I heard is not good) I was and have been 110 to 120 pounds my whole life and as soon as I had my pre-cancerous cells removed and the endometriosis removed and they started with the shots I got up to 220. It seemed like it just took like 2 or 3 days. My belly started growing and it looked and people asked if I were pregnant. Even with my first child I never weighed that much.
