Avatar n tn I think it might have something to do with eczema (which my dad has), or an infection that gets into the cracked skin on the lips. I'm in the middle of it right now. Two days ago I had some really greasy pizza. It seemed to occur almost instantly after that. It calmed down a bit throughout the night until I had more of the pizza. It got a lot worse after that. I'm not positive it had anything to do with the grease, but it seemed to correspond.
Avatar n tn Lip colored little bumps On the corners of my lips that have seemed to spread but come and go in various spots over the course of one or 2 days. The first thing I thought of was my lip problem ressembled the poison ivy rash I had just gotten over. I did some reasearching of poison ivy on lips, and came up with allergic reaction to mango, AND I had just eaten a few mangos 2 days earlier. Apparently poison ivys and mangos are in the same family producing the same allergen. Who wouldve thunk it.

Avatar f tn At the end of March (of this year) my mouth began to crack right at the corner. I don't remember it pussing or oozing...it would crack open and hurt pretty bad. After about a month the other corner cracked open. It would begin to heal and then crack open again. I tried antifungal cream and that seemed to help things out, but it would not heal up all the way. In addition to the cracking in the corners, the center of my lip felt very dry.

Avatar f tn Benadryl is also something of an anti-emetic, and can be given at 1 mg per pound of the dog's weight, but I doubt it will be very effective in the face of this kind of vomiting. Worth a try though. Another thing that helps is calcium - lots of it. I was giving Chica 2 Tums a day during her last couple of months. The calcium binds to phosphorus which is deadly to those in renal failure.
Avatar f tn Pseudomonas can also cause a nasty situation, along with infection from a tooth that hasn't had that root canal yet because you're too broke to put $1200 in your mouth. In that case, you can get a bacteria that is fungal like in nature, throwing the apple cart upside down. That one is called actinomyces israelii--little crystals-like sparkles thingies. Other than the last disease, research showed a great deal of success for recovery with a good quality colloidal silver, believe it or not.

Avatar n tn I think part of my problem might be a vitamin B deficiency. One of the doctors here told me that vitamin B2 and B12 should be supplemented more. Well, I must need to get a better form of B12 then, because that's the one that it matters which form you use or your body doesn't even take it in and it will go right through you. These are water soluble vitamins, just so you know.

544292 tn?1268886268 Getting off this stuff will save me a HUGE amount of pain in the future. I liked waking up happy! It reminded me of how I used to wake up pre-Tramadol. More water, lots of vitamins, ice and rest. Progress and regression. It's all part of the game. You can't fool Mother Nature. And I'm IGNORING the text message that said,"Let me know if you change your mind and I'll bring you something." Drugs. Pushers. They think they are helping. No more.
Avatar n tn also, if its growing fast i take 2 - 10 mg of loratidine (melt in your mouth, placed under my tongue). the benadryl knocks the heck out of me but it works. i really feel the Singular has had a good effect on me. this is a crazy thing to have happen and i am glad to find this list for ideas!! good luck!
Avatar n tn Perhaps some of the ingredients in this stuff are in something you use? Please let me know if any of this sounds familiar to you guys or if you might be able to shed some light on this.
Avatar n tn It is an awful thing to 'have to put up with' I also have ulcers on the back of my tongue and roof of my mouth, this cannot be normal.
Avatar n tn For me, I realized I have B12 and Vitamin D deficiency so needed to take those vitamins and avoid B6. I live in the NW with no sunlight and have been breastfeeding a baby so all my nutrients went to him. I have heard it takes about three years for full recovery. The thing I don't really understand is why this happens. The first time it happened to me (two years ago) I was taking a fairly high dose of B complex.
Avatar f tn I have since had the root canal retreated on the tooth that was being blamed for my mouth discomfort. This has resulted in a 100% improvement in the pain and feverish feeling emanating from THAT tooth, but I still have an strange irritating sensation emanating from the implant that extends to the cheek, nostril, and eye above the implant. I have a feeling the implant is the cause of the mouth trouble and wondering if it is the cause of my neurological symptoms as well.
