Cpap supplies replacement schedule

Common Questions and Answers about Cpap supplies replacement schedule

cpap

Avatar f tn My friend's company replaces his CPAP supplies whenever he asks. They give you instructions on how to keep it clean. Obviously nobody wants to do it, but there are consequences. Otherwise they would let you do it the easy way. Now you have unexplained lung nodules, so you will have to get a biopsy to find out what is going on. Nobody here can help you.

IGF-1 is low. Can I be a candidate for growth hormone replacement therapy with immediate effect.
Avatar m tn Hi, Thanks for writing in. Synthyroid is a thyroid replacement drug which provides the body with only the T4 form, where as Armour thyroid supplies with both T3 and T4 forms of thyroid. Side effects are usually associated with over dosage and they are vomiting, convulsions, coma, heart failure, hypoglycemia etc. Discuss with your physician regarding this and follow her advise. Best.
222135 tn?1236488221 Any one use a CPAP or BiPAP? Can you tell me how long it took you to get used to sleeping with it? Do you really feel better? Waiting to get mine and not too thrilled about it. I hated it when I had to do the titration stay for CPAP. Really did not like the way it felt. Any thoughts?
961503 tn?1247059639 Go back to whoever you get your cpap supplies from and ask about a full face mask. The chin strap did not work for me....... I had to get the mask that covers both nose and mouth. Hope that helps!
Avatar f tn Pressure support ventilation, where air under gentle pressure is passed into the airways keeping it patent. A CPAP delivers continuous pressure for both inhaling and exhaling. As this supplies continuous amount of air pressure the person has to exhale against this extra pressure. This makes it imperfect or unsuitable for certain people, such as those who are suffering from neuromuscular diseases.
Avatar n tn I have bought both pumps I have had and all supplies on Ebay. I am on my second pump now and have enough supplies for 2 years but am looking for a replacement pump. Does anyone know where I can buy a pump at a resonable price? Thanks, Buddy C.
Avatar m tn Wow. this is my second withdrawl from oxy 15's in the last month and a half. The first time I went three days and relapsed. This time I will succeed because my scrip ( if I ever do refill it ) is not good for another eight days. So I am in a better position to do it this time. In the last five years I've had a knee replacement and both hips replaced. I'm 60 years old and have been taking 15 mg at least five times a day, somedays 7 or 8.
4976466 tn?1365993611 1. I'm 24+4. when am i officially "6 months"? 2. does anyone know what the covers that go over the car seat are called? they hang loosely over the handle and I've also seen them customized. they aren't replacement covers. they kind of just cover the baby like a blanket would if it was thrown over the car seat. 3. when is the baby big enough that i have to stop sleeping on my back. i know he's over a pound and a half already. 4.
20003388 tn?1515166040 Hello everyone. So, for years now I have suffered from extreme fatigue and brain fog/memory issues. I had my testosterone and thyroid checked, both were low. I on now on thyroid meds and testosterone replacement but it hasn't made a dent in my fatigue and brain fog despite my levels being optimal now. I do have sleep apnea and use a CPAP at night but my numbers there are also optimal. Caffeine, and most stimulants, make the fatigue worse.
Avatar m tn I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea waking 23 times per hour. I've since lost somewhere around 35-40 pounds. I believe I still have apnea, but not as severe. I was completely unable to handle cpap as it induced vertigo (a problem which I have intermittently), and sharp pains in my ears. I worked with the doctor and even on the lowest settings I had problems. I tried an oral device, but I have severe TMJ and it was too painful.
Avatar f tn Replacement with thyroid hormone (levothyroxine) supplies all that is needed from a thyroid standpoint. This needs to be monitored with labs at least 1-2 x / year. Would consult with a pediatric endocrinologist to evaluate the child to ensure there are no other considerations.
908150 tn?1243182960 Kev, delivered? Its available at any Walgreens that had Armour. Its cheaper than Armour too. Its about $8-15 per month for most on Acella. Unfortunately theses stores are substituting it for people on Armour. You just cant change brands streamlined - there is almost always time need for the body to get used to it. My Erfa is about $21 per month including shipping from Canada (vary good deal).
Avatar m tn When I went into the doctors because of PVC's, My doctor very quickly asked me about my sleeping habits. PVCs due to sleep apnea was one of the suspects. I did a sleep study (during which I barely slept) and had 11 sleep incidents in a little over an hour. I am getting a CPAP fitted in a couple weeks. I would love to know if this is going to help. I read on this board that some people say it does help with PVCs.
Avatar f tn since the virus was undetectable. He wanted to then see how his kidneys would do.He schedule him for a kidney biopsy. Avatar m tn I am a 59 year old T2 diabetic male with stent, sleep apnea, and pacemaker/defibrillator. Get a another doctor who can schedule tests for your heart and a trip to a sleep study lab. Been through all that. I had a heart attack, without the classic symptoms, four years ago. A 90% blockage necessitated a stent. I also developed congestive heart failure that led to the heart device implant. I'm just recovering from the surgery but can feel some progress.
867582 tn?1311627397 Hi, all! I'd been napping pretty regularly and getting to bed early, but I guess after my meeting the the "big kahuna neurologist" earlier this week, it just set me off - his saying I didn't have MS. So I thought, okay, if I don't have it, then I don't have to waste any more of my daylight hours on naps - hurray!! So for the past two days I did not nap - oh, it was delicious! I could get lots more done that way - I got my car inspected etc.
Avatar n tn Hi, i couldn't find a way to repsond to a thread on the topic that was already out there. This is what's happened to me: In 2/08 I received "no delivery" alarms so frequently, even after changing sites to places I had never used before (such as sites on my thighs and arms), changing infusion sets (I always use Quick Set with the inserter, never place it manually) and reservoirs.
18038250 tn?1462591719 Unfortunately this messed with my sleep schedule because I was up most nights getting called in or stayed late at work. My schedule was 630-1500, call started after 1500. My first PCP prescribed me ambien. I would only take it when I wasn't on call for obvious reasons. I was getting depressed and decided to see a prescribing therapist and she eventually diagnosed me with depression and manic bipolar.
198419 tn?1360242356 See my post about busy week for my schedule. Besides as noted in my post the Dec. 1 Dec. 5 doesn't fit my schedule this week.

332074 tn?1229560525 I know that they are going to put me on a cpap machine. I know I would do okay with the mask that is just the two little prongs that go in your nose. However in the past when I have had surgery I have gone crazy when they have put the mask over my mouth and nose. I have always had very bad allergies and can not stand to have anything touching my nose and mouth. So I was wondering how do they determine what is the best mask for you to have?
Avatar n tn My wife uses a cpap machine with moisture every night. She has had two bouts with pneumonia this winter which she never had before using the cpap machine. Questions: Can breathing in excess moist air into the lungs by means of the cpap machine overload the lungs with moisture and cause problems?
Avatar f tn Shhhhhhh - your brain and body are listening. Give yourself some positive self talk, such as... I can do ANYTHING for just 30 days. Sleeping in my own home and bed will be nothing like in that lab. I'm going to take advantage of this change to get 30 days of real quality sleep. I'm glad that CPAP increases my likelihood of a good surgical outcome and recovery. I'm glad the next 30 days I will be at reduced risk of heart attack and stroke.
