16 months ago, I began a series of CAT scans, all of which revealed multiple lung nodules. Recently, the dry cough has become severe, and I ran a fever, which responded to a Zpak given by my doubtful GP.
I've been using a CPAP since 2000, but have never paid much attention to washing my supplies, nor replacing them in a timely fashion. Nor have I used distilled water in my "heated" humidifier, as that is an added expense. The machines have been replaced a few times though.

i know there are compassionate release programs available to help with supplies of insulin in Canada. Generally they are able to give you 6 months of free supply. I am not sure if that's available in the States or not. Your best bet would be to go to a diabetes clinic and ask them. if it is available, the diabetes educators in the clinic would be able to sign you up for the program. Best of luck!

t tell you how long exactly this had been happening maybe 5 to 6 yrs. Some nights I will be sleeping and I stop breathing in my sleep and most of the time I wake up but I'm still gasping for air can't breath, and I can't move anything on my body except for my eyes. When I am able to breath again I can move. Please help....what is wrong?
I am required to use a cpap for 30 nights before surgery. I had to repeat my sleep study due to having a panic attack during the 1st sleep study. In my opinion, I sleep very well, soundly, and besides having very bad knee pain, I feel energetIic in the morning. I am DREADING THE NEXT 30 NIGHTS...I WORK 2 JOBS (5-6 DAYS) MOST WEEKS..I AM ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FUNCTION AND LIVE MY COMPLETE LIFE AS I DO NOW!!
Can breathing in excess moist air into the lungs by means of the cpap machine overload the lungs with moisture and cause problems?
i just went for my second sleep study to be hooked up to the cpap. the first one said i quit breathing and was breathing very shallow. once i get my new machine how long will it take to be back to 100%. i could tell the morning after that i did feel a little better and did not have a headaache.
Hi, not heard from you for sometime, hope now you are doing well and have got adjusted to your new CPAP machine. Initial discomfort is commone but in due course you will get used to it. How did you do your recent sleep study. Any advise from your physician. Take care and keep updating your feedback.

I have a 9 year old daughter who was finally diagnosed at the age of 6 with obstructive sleep apnea (she has had it since day one, but had very little symptoms besides not sleeping so I had a heck of a time trying to convince Dr's that she had a problem).
She is very slender, tall, smart, and healthy, but does not sleep. She has been on cpap, pressure of 7 for 3 years without much success. She has had her tonsils and adnoids out.
