574423 tn?1258658571 i've read a few peoples posts regarding pillows, but can't seem to find them again. if anyone has any suggestions for a good pillow, i would be very appreciative. i've tried the tempurpedic foam pillows and because i also have occipital neuralgia, it feels like i'm laying on a rock. i need something soft yet supportive. also, has anyone used a wedge? i'm considering a wedge as well, because i am a stomach sleeper, and need to change that, it wrenches my neck.
Avatar f tn It works perfectly fine and was $14, I am 26 weeks. I saw a foam wedge pillow just for the belly at Walmart for under $20, that would probably be helpful when your belly is really heavy.

Avatar f tn I have three pillows and a body pillow I sleep with. I I take one pillow for my head, one I wedge between my back and bed, and the other pillow I put under my belly, and body pillow on top of that so I can wedge that baby bump in there, and put between my legs. Its really a science...lol Dr. also say to sleep on left side helps the blood flow better and its better for the baby.

I obviously sleep slanted on my belly lol but if you wedge a pillow in between you where your belly can rest, its very comfortable!
Avatar f tn It is horrible huh. I always use to sleep on my side, but now that I'm pregnant and its the way your "suppose" to, I find it super uncomfortable. I've resorted to a memory foam wedge pillow. I put it between me and my husband with the thinner side pointed towards me and a kinda roll on backwards it with my back on it. So kinda propped and not flat on my back or in my side.

435139 tn?1255460391 Anyone use a crib wedge to prop up baby a bit? I'm thinking of buying one because I wouldn't want to lay FLAT on MY back so I am imagining baby wouldn't want to either...Just curious if anyone else has used one and what they thought...
Avatar f tn I have the same problem, but on both sides. I put my body pillow btwn my legs & wedge part of it under my side. I also prop a pillow behind my back to lean on it & reduce some of the pressure off my side. I wish you well!
Avatar m tn Treatment plan is to determine the extent to which the CPAP reduces my lung pressure (am told that CPAP can possibly reduce my pressure to normal levels - is this correct and if so, what is the likelihood and appropriate time to allow this treatment to work?); then start calcium channel blockers, if advisable, after determining efficacy of CPAP 4.
Avatar f tn I tend to switch back & forth from right side to left. Try to spend the majority of the night on my left if I can, but I'm naturally a right side sleeper, so that doesn't always work. I sleep with an extra long body pillow so I can hug it, wedge it under my belly & between my legs. I tend to sleep angled on my tummy a little with the bottom leg straight and the top leg bent on top of the pillow & I wedge another regular size pillow against/under my back for support.
