Not unbearable but bad enough to see a dermatologist who told me I am alergic to the sun - stay out of sun and wear sun block. I stay out of the sun. It is five years later. I went to a second dermatologist who took a biopsy of one of the itchy bumps that have become a new symptom. She told me I have a drug alergy and I should have my primary physician change my medications. I told her the only drug I take is lorazapam.
I am still having problems and I am wondering if there is any other help available for people who suffer with hives due to the sun? I try to apply sun block and stay covered up, but if I go swimming this is hard to do.
My problems are made worse if I am out in the sun and I touch plants (weeding the garden). I have many environmental allergies as well.
t know if it was the combination of swimming and the acne regiments that he has been doing, but now he has developed a sensitivity to the sun just on his face and neck. I have also had many tests to make sure the retina is not torn, etc. My doctor has been very thorough. Hello, I have sort of an odd thing that has been going on for a couple of years. Every time I go out in the sun for a while I get really nauseas and weak. Headaches sometimes occur, but not as much as the nausea; my stomach gets really upset and sometimes I vomit. Yesterday it was a nice sunny day and I was outside for about a half hour and it happened. It lasts through the next day as well and is accompanied by even more weakness.

My MD put me on Hyzaar for hypertension. Previously I had been on Cozaar but she changed it to Hyzaar for the added benefit of the diuretic.
I noticed my drug company autosubbed generic Losortan. The bottle doesn't say anything about hydrochlorothiazide being included. Could I be getting the wrong thing, or should I assume some form of hydrochlorothiazide is included?
I notice that the Express Script drug I now use is made by Apotex whereas the original Walgreen brand was Cozaar. I went back to Walgreens and asked the pharmacist if there was any chance that the Apotex was inferior/impotent to the Cozaar for some reason. She assured me that could not be the case and that there could be no difference. Losartan is Losartan is Losartan.
As an experiment(with GP consensus), I doubled my dose of Apotex Losartan from 50 to 100 mg a day for one week.
I think after this month, that will be 3 months on losartin(cozaar), I will see how my blood work is then add vasotec to the cozaar wait 3 months check my blood work and make a decision on dropping cozaar for vasotec.
It was first published as far as I can see that losartan reduces fibrosis in 2000, that sure seems much to long a time lag between discovery and clinical use and I'm sure it is that way across medicine.
I opted for the RAI (3 months ago) and I take cozaar (6 months now) and in these last 3 weeks I am suffering from muscle fatigue, muscle cramps if I stretch them too quickly or exercise them. Could the cozaar be causing the problem or is the disease the problem or both?

It has gotten better, but now he has developed a horrible sensitivity to the sun. He goes out to the sun, gets really dizzy immediately and develops pain at the top of his head.
That seems very interesting what is this made up of it sounds like it a chinese herb ..I have some sensitivity outside and always wear sun glasses but not inside .
