s right, it is more preferred than ACE inhibitors since it does not cause side effect particularly cough. I am taking cozaar too ;D another is maybe you become tachycardic because as we urinate (which is because sodium excretion is promoted by cozaar), blood volume decreases, as a result , increase in HR occur to compensate in low blood volume by trying to pump more blood. that's the reason i think behind the tachycardia thing.

m using codein - which has some awful side effects eg dry mouth, stomach cramps. This cough may be just a silly little tickle cough - but it has ruined my life.

I'm on 27 days of Diltriazam and some wierd side effects are still there. I'm getting use to the uncomfortable gas and am keeping the constipation at bay with Miralax. I have had many headaches and lots of wierd tired spells. Will Cozar help with the chest pains from the MVP?

Genetic's doctor spoke of two beta blocking drugs for 'aorta root dilatation'. Atenalo and Cozaar. Take amidiarone for arrythmia - take half the recommended dose to avoid some side effects, ie., lower pulse rate. rarely have Arrythmia now. Take one Cozaar 50mgs daily. BP recently about 165/85. Pulse rate 37 this morning prior to medication. Usually Pulse is 39/42. Has been for years. Athlete when young may explain low pulse to some extent. Clearly, BP 165/85 too high still. Plan to take a herbal treatment claimed to cure Atrial Fibrillatiion. That high BP, suggestions please?

I found it is great medication and works very well. To my knowledge there are no damaging side effects to the drug since it was prescribed to me by my gastroligist. Since your blood pressure seems to be under control then you probably dont need the "Cozaar". However you should mention it to your doctor and check your blood pressure at least weakly for a while.

While the above states that less than 1% using cozaar will develop sexual dysfunction....the following study shows over 88% had increased and enhanced sexual function. I like the odds! I have taken prednisone many other times, with no adverse side effects. I went to the doctor yesterday with the following symptomps; even though I knew that I was getting enough air, I felt that I could not get a good breath and my throat felt very tight and jaw just clenched open while I was gasping for breath. I also felt very anxious. I never experienced this before. Boy it was scary.

Cozaar is what my husband is taking for regular heart rate due to a past heart attack. However, it has side effects of chronic lack of energy and the big one of erectile dysfunction. What are some other alternatives?

any cuts or scratches on my feet or legs seem to become worse and more itchy and irritated as days go by-i have made every attempt to be careful while doing yard work-a nasty throaty cough seems to have developed.unknown if its related to the side effects--doing a search for each side effect related to doxil turns up numerous possibilities.and yes i know the alternative is far worse and even fatal -so what can one do but wait be grateful ? thank you and my best to everyone.

Can you go have the Cozaar filled at another pharmacy?

Most of my side effects are gone, but I still have a few. I feel great,even with the few side effects I have left. What I noticed was they lessened in intensity as the days went by. Then at some point I would realize a certain side effect was gone. Then another and another. They just keep disappearing, but not all at once, and it is gradual. At least that is what I found. I also found that it is a little uneven, just like they are while on treatment.

Have you been seizure free since you are on dilantin? His seizures were so violent (he broke a bone in his back caused by the seizure) that it really scares me. He has been fine now but I am the one listening to every noise and not being able to relax.

My mother just had her 1st shot of Lucentis. She has a small leak. She is also on Glaucoma eye drops. She is experiencing extreme fatigue and she said her thoughts/memory seem fuzzy. How long do these side effects last? My mother is a small person who doesn't take any other medications except for the eyes. She works out everyday. She isn't up to that either. I’ve had the most horrible side effects. I already suffer with really bad acid reflux (diagnosed as IBS co they couldn’t find anything else). Well this drug gave me acid to die for – pains in the neck, back, stomach under my ribs; I thought I was having a heart attack!! The acid is so bad at the moment it is making me cough when it hits my throat and the pain – well – and its been 36 hours since I took a tablet. For goodness sake I only took 10 mg and only managed that for 2 days!!!

If you have high blood pressure then ask your doctor to put you on losartan (Cozaar) Not sure what a doctor would do without high BP. You could search clinicaltrials.

I was taking that dosage. As time went by I developed very serious adrenal fatigue, sometimes so bad that I couldn't walk. Cortisol levels were very high. I was treated for it with only moderate success. But there was a more serious side effect that I was not aware of. For the last two years my lung health was declining seriously and I honestly did not think I would make it through the coming winter. I assumed that the COPD was progressing at an alarming rate.
