Can you go have the Cozaar filled at another pharmacy?

I notice that the Express Script drug I now use is made by Apotex whereas the original Walgreen brand was Cozaar. I went back to Walgreens and asked the pharmacist if there was any chance that the Apotex was inferior/impotent to the Cozaar for some reason. She assured me that could not be the case and that there could be no difference. Losartan is Losartan is Losartan. As an experiment(with GP consensus), I doubled my dose of Apotex Losartan from 50 to 100 mg a day for one week.

If you have high blood pressure then ask your doctor to put you on losartan (Cozaar) Not sure what a doctor would do without high BP. You could search clinicaltrials.

I've been taking cozaar 100mg and amiloretic for 3 months I have stopped it for 4 days now my feet ankles are swollen and I have mild headaches

My MD put me on Hyzaar for hypertension. Previously I had been on Cozaar but she changed it to Hyzaar for the added benefit of the diuretic. I noticed my drug company autosubbed generic Losortan. The bottle doesn't say anything about hydrochlorothiazide being included. Could I be getting the wrong thing, or should I assume some form of hydrochlorothiazide is included?

I think after this month, that will be 3 months on losartin(cozaar), I will see how my blood work is then add vasotec to the cozaar wait 3 months check my blood work and make a decision on dropping cozaar for vasotec. Three days ago, my new doc placed me on Armour due to hyper-sensitivity issues with other brands of Thyroid medications. She suggested taking one 30mg tablet once a day. I was used to taking 100-112mcgs of Levothyroxine daily and seemed ok at that dose. Should I be taking 60 mg instead of 30mgs? I am starting to feel the symptoms of being hypo-t in the last three days and I don't want to regress. What would you sugges as a starter dose when switching between the two? thank you.

I had mine repaired 7 years ago and a couple of years ago I started having shortness of breath, dull pain in my heart and now my left ventricle is slightly enlarged. I just started on cozaar, that is the only medicine I am on. My cardiologist seems to feel the time is coming soon, probably in the next 6-12 months. Any thoughts on the subject.

Hi i'm new here and i've recently started taking iron tablets (ferrous sulphate) 200mg 3 times a day. This is an embarassing question..... Does anyone now feel sick whenever they go to the toilet? I personally go at least once a day and now i'm replused by myself. I know a side effect is blackened stools, but this makes me feel physically sick! After five days I was sent home still in A-fib. Ten days later I was put on Cozaar , Coumadin and Digoxin. That night my heart self-converted. Is it common for A-fib to self-convert after being in constant A-fib tachycardia for 15 days? What are the odds of me going back into A-fib? This was my first time with A-fib. And I have been in sinus rhythm for 3 1/2 months, with a normal heart rate. I am F 55 not overweight, non smoker.
