D another is maybe you become tachycardic because as we urinate (which is because sodium excretion is promoted by cozaar), blood volume decreases, as a result , increase in HR occur to compensate in low blood volume by trying to pump more blood. that's the reason i think behind the tachycardia thing.

I am on Levothyroxine for hypo-thyroidism, Paxil for panic attacks, Cozaar for high blood pressure, Omeprazole for gastric problems, Methotrexate for rheumatoid arthritis, and a Remicade infusion (chemo) therapy every six weeks also for the RA. rarely have Arrythmia now. Take one Cozaar 50mgs daily. BP recently about 165/85. Pulse rate 37 this morning prior to medication. Usually Pulse is 39/42. Has been for years.
Athlete when young may explain low pulse to some extent. Clearly, BP 165/85 too high still.
Plan to take a herbal treatment claimed to cure Atrial Fibrillatiion.
That high BP, suggestions please?
high blood pressure is, by definition, a repeatedly elevated blood pressure exceeding 140 over 90 mmHg -- a systolic pressure above 140 with a diastolic pressure above 90.
Note that they use the words "consistently" or "repeatedly" or some such.
And also so that we don't debate the intervention point, feel free to substitute 120/80 for 140/90 if you like.
I have had high blood pressure through out most of my pregnancy i am now 35wks. I started swelling really bad last week and at my apt yesterday my blood pressure had jumped even higher to 156/90. My mid wife didn't seem concerned at all she just re took it and made my appointments weekly now. I can't seem to get rid of a head ache ive had for a couple days. Should i be worried???
