cozaar and ibuprofen

my pharmacey was out of cozaar and they gave me losartan,.

I got on Cozaar for my tx induced high BP specifically for this reason! I had read studies about Cozaar being beneficial for ED, Fibrosis, and depression...and asked my GP to switch me from diuretic style BP drugs to the ARB class. I did notice benefits in ED function after a few weeks, and also definitely noticed a more positive mood. I am hoping there will also be an impact on my stage II fibrosis after my SVR, and will do a follow up Fibro-Sure test next year to check for any changes.

I've been taking cozaar 100mg and amiloretic for 3 months I have stopped it for 4 days now my feet ankles are swollen and I have mild headaches

My MD put me on Hyzaar for hypertension. Previously I had been on Cozaar but she changed it to Hyzaar for the added benefit of the diuretic. I noticed my drug company autosubbed generic Losortan. The bottle doesn't say anything about hydrochlorothiazide being included. Could I be getting the wrong thing, or should I assume some form of hydrochlorothiazide is included?

I noticed I had put on about 10 pounds and new I was under more stress than usual.. Lost the weight and got life under control and every thing BP wise went back to normal..

I think after this month, that will be 3 months on losartin(cozaar), I will see how my blood work is then add vasotec to the cozaar wait 3 months check my blood work and make a decision on dropping cozaar for vasotec. It was first published as far as I can see that losartan reduces fibrosis in 2000, that sure seems much to long a time lag between discovery and clinical use and I'm sure it is that way across medicine.

I opted for the RAI (3 months ago) and I take cozaar (6 months now) and in these last 3 weeks I am suffering from muscle fatigue, muscle cramps if I stretch them too quickly or exercise them. Could the cozaar be causing the problem or is the disease the problem or both?

There are studies going on at Johns Hopkins concerning cozaar to see if it can stop or reverse the growth of aortas, which it has done in mice. My son has taken Cozaar and his beta blocker for three years and his aorta has not grown wider...so this is good news!

Just wanted to know if losartan(Cozaar) is the best option for an alcoholic with gout and high blood pressure? Of course, the best scenario would be to completely delete alcohol out of the equation, but it is not an option at this time for the person involved.

In my opinion, experience and search Coreg is the best and main medication (with other pills) if you have low EF. Up until the EF improves like a year or more good to be on Coreg. If your doctor says not for you, ask him to explain why?

I have recently stopped taking Coreg 6.25ng and started on Cozaar 50mg to manage my blood pressure which is working out really great according to measurements. I was weaned from Coreg by taking just my dosage at night and skipping the morning one for two weeks and then to stop. In reading about these in pill book, I already suffer from cold spots in the extremities, kidney problems at times and several of the other nasty's listed as side effects, etc. Have a hard time keeping weight on me[130 lbs -5' 5 1/2"], low body temperature [97]. They initially wanted to put me on Lisinopril, but I was on that previously and I had a terrible, nagging cough the entire time. I've read that ACE Inhibitors are preferable to ARBs, though, when it comes to CHF. Should I try another ACE, or would all of them be likely to cause a cough since the Lisinopril did? Before I had my mitral valve repaired in 2002 the ventricale had enlarged to about where it is now and the cozaar brought it back to within normal limits for a year or so, maybe it will work again but in any event I think I am going to push for surgery. Putting it off for an extra year is really just prolonging what is bound to happen and might make things worse. I just hope permenant damage has not already occurred.

Hi I have a massive period ache , therefore I took 1100 mg of ibuprofen . At first I had taken 500 mg tablet but it's been an hour and a half and it did not help , so I took an other tablet of ibuprofen of 600 mg . The pain is gone but I feel very tired , can I be harmed or die out of it ? Should I ask for help ? Or has anybody been familiar with it ? Please help me , I am a hypochondriac person and I also have OCD and use Prozac .

I took tylenol this morning. I took Ibuprofen an hour ago . I coudnnt take it anymore. It was a one time thing and i feel so much better. Will my baby be okay?

whenever i take even one 550mg (naproxen) ibuprofen and then drink, my stomach gets tender and bloated and i feel bad. i usually take a maalox or something like that, yet i never throw up from it so i don't know if that's applicable for you. i think it is due to the ibuprofen, but if you're not used to eating spicy foods then it could have disagreed with you, not necessarily meaning food poisoning. you should never drink and take NSAIDs at the same time.

Ibuprofen is bad for our livers. Try getting a massage if you can. Bromelian, a natural supplement made from pineapples helps reduce swelling but it takes time to work. Also, make sure you're drinking lots of water, and getting some exercise. Try some yoga too. Pot brownies worked the best for my back pain.

I have a infected broke off wisdom tooth during my last pregnancy my face swelled up and I was out of Tylenol so I took a 800 mg ibuprofen. Bad call for me but I was in pain and it was only once and everything turned out fine with baby so I was lucky.

Killer headaches, and never any Tylenol around. Ibuprofen can't be that bad huh? Got to go to work and this headache must go.
