i have had this cough for 2 months now and i would like to no that same question^^^^,when i cough it makes me vomit,and green and yellow flem comes out of my mouth i have been to the doctors and they have said its only hay fever or u have a lot of mucus , so they give me some tablets and the cough as not gone, i would like to what it could be and what could get rid of this cough i am really starting to worry now please some one right back
I have had sinus draining in the throat, yellow coating on tongue, yellow roof of mouth since December. Seems almost like some kind of allergy, I don't know.
It doesn't get worse so I'm not worrying about it. I rinse and gargle with hydrogen peroxide, bubbles like crazy when it hits my tongue.
The very last 2 days of the Moxifloxacin course, my mucous finally turned pale. I'm still coughing up very pale yellow and clear sputum as opposed to the solid yellow stuff I'd had before. Pale yellow, almost clear is ok, right? A friend of mine said she was coughing up clear mucous for 2-3 months.
I can't get another chest x-ray at the moment though, as I've just discovered I'm pregnant - that could explain the lower immunity and fatigue.

I cough up thick yellow phlegm and wheeze terribly every day from about 10 AM until 1 PM. By late afternoon I am absolutely fine. At night when I go to sleep I feel something (phlegm?) deep in my throat. However, I do NOT feel anything draining from my sinuses any more (as I did at the very beginning of all of this), nor is my nose runny, nor do I feel any sinus pressure. Allergy medicine has had no affect.
Should I be worried? What could this be? Allergies? Infection? Please help.
Okay so it started almost half a week ago I'd say.. I wasn't feeling sick at all, but for some reason I just started coughing up a lot of phlegm.. clearish to yellow colored. I don't smoke cigarettes, only on the occassional weekend. I do smoke pot.
Anyways I thought the phelgm coughing up mighta been caused by some resin I was smoking, but they said that was black phlegm, not clearish yellow...
So a few days pass of coughing up phlegm, and now I'm sitting here.. irritated...
I have been getting over a recent bout of bronchitis where I was prescribed Augmentin (I am on Day 6) and Prednisone short burst (finished 2 days ago) I am still coughing quite bad but the fever has broke... but as of yesterday the phlegm/mucus I am coughing up tastes extremely salty. I have not been using any type of saline spray, or gargling with salt water, so I know this is not the reason. Is it the antibiotics causing this? Or is there another reason?
A week ago today, i went in for surgery to have half my Thyroid 'removed'. Since then i've had a cough.. Mostly dry but sometimes there is a little bit of something to cough up. Mostly i have that horrible feeling where just breathing out makes me feel like i need to cough! It gets quite bad at night and i'm finding it hard to sleep.. Also, coughing REALLY doesn't feel good after surgery in that area >.

My nose is stuffed up on one side and there is clear and yellow phlegm present. I feel like my cough is coming from either my throat or deep in my chest cavity.
I can breath fine when I'm not having a coughing fit, never smoked, normal appetite, no pressure or pain in chest, and no sore throat present at the time.

ok the main thing is i'm usually 160-165 lbs for age 21 5'11", and i'm now 135 lbs and this was over a period of 3 months and i'm trying to gain weight again. Also I have yellow diarrhea alot, thats the most frightening thing after 3 or 4 days,could it be Giardia. I get chills frequently and my lower left side of my abdomen cramps alot i also have alot of coughing going on, but mucas looks fine.
My symptoms started a month ago when i had a fever, throat pain, coughing up yellow mucus and a runny nose, so i decided to visit my doctor which prescribed Klacid 500 mg (Clarithromycin), which i took and after a few days the runny nose stopped and my throat no longer hurt, however, i was still caughing, which a follow-up to my doctor gave me Valdocef (Cefadroxil) which i also took but the cough remained.
I've been coughing for 2 months and still going. It's almost only at rest, not when I speak or exercise. IT feels like a tickle, most of the time like it's from the deep parts of the troat. Clearing my throat doesn't work, only coughing.
It's driving me crazy. Some clear mucus does come up, sometimes a bit of yellow too, and sometimes nothing.
No other symptoms. No breathlessness, no blood..
Have been to my GP, waiting for the results of a mucus sample.
Starting from 02/23/2008 (the 37th day after last exposure), I started coughing with productive thick dark yellow mucus, runny nose, sore throat. However there was no fever until 03/02 (the 44th day after last exposure).
Here are the descriptions of my symptions:
Day 1 ~ day 8: productive coughing, thick dark yellow mucus, runny nose, sore throat (No fever)
Day 9: fever with 102.8F maximum.
I slept with a girl two days ago and use a condom but came down with flu like symptoms including a runny nose and congestion as well as yellow mucus that I'm coughing up. Did I get a flu virus or are these consistent with initial onset of genital herpes. As soon as I finished having sex with the girl I went straight to the bathroom and washed with soap and water. And it was a very short duration of actual intercourse.
I was told today that I under-medicate my attacks. I don't always use my inhaler when I meet yellow zone criteria, sometimes I kind of "wait it out" and use it if I've been in the yellow zone for a while. My doctor was clear that sooner is better than later and I shouldn't be hanging out in the yellow zone. I don't get in the red zone very often at all, but if I do, it's at night and I wake up in a pretty bad state in which case I'm fast to react.
